Here are the R&S team's thoughts to help you along:

Rosehill Race 8 - Vale Lonhro Handicap (1800m)

IKNOWASTAR (10) tough on-speed gelding who returned in good order when a fighting second over 1400m at this track on March 30. Goes just as well second-up and will take plenty of catching again. WATERFORD (4) multiple Group 2 placegetter resuming. Had no luck from the wide draw when a close-up fifth in the G2 Ingham at Randwick over 1600m on December 9. Has looked sharp in his two latest trials and expected to sprint well fresh. AMOKURA (3) Queensland Oaks winner resuming from a five-and-a-half-month break. Had no luck from the wide draw when a tenacious third in the G2 Matriarch over 2000m at Flemington last November. Had two searching 1000m trials in readiness for this and not to be underestimated. GREBENI (2) classy gelding resuming after going out a winner after taking out the Maroubra over 1600m at Randwick on December 30. Finished second in a recent 900m trial and just needs luck from the sticky gate

Morphettville Race 7 - Australasian Oaks (2000m)

VIBRANT SUN (6) came with a well-timed run to get up and score comfortably at Moonee Valley 5 weeks ago over a mile and is expected to relish the step up to 2000 metres for the first time. She will have time to secure a handy spot early on and can have the last say again. COCO SUN (8) has taken a different route into this than most of her rivals and her 2 wins this prep have come at benchmark level, with her last win at Bendigo being the most impressive of the 2, scoring by 3 lengths. She was fifth in the Oaks earlier in the season and the step up to 2000 metres third is ideal. Stick with her. WINGS OF SONG (2) is aiming for 7 wins on the bounce and franked her Tasmanian wins with an easy victory in the traditional lead-up to this race here a fortnight ago and she has to be hard to beat again. PULCHRITUDINOUS (1) was a last-start winner of the NZ Oaks 6 weeks ago and has since joined the Waterhouse/Bott stable. That form stacks up nicely here and she can win this as well.

Rosehill Race 9 - Matt Berhmann Handicap (1800m)

RACE 9 - PERVADE (7) two runs back have been sound over unsuitable trips and looks ready to win. Sat on the speed in the soft (7) going when a tiring sixth over 1600m at Gosford on April 10. Home track suits and looks good each way value. Group 1 placegetter GAN TEORAINN (10) looks close to her top now third-up after catching the eye when fourth over 1600m at Gosford. Drop in weight suits from the soft gate. Genuine top-three contender. PREMISE (8) Group 1 placegetter kept fresh for this. Much better effort when a gritty fifth over 1900m at this track in the G3 Epona on March 23. Looks to get every chance again from the draw. REBEL RAMA (11) returns from a 35-day let-up. Tough mare who had to work hard from the wide draw when a tiring tenth in the G3 Epona over 1900m here on March 23. Solid trial when third over 1100m at Canterbury on April 19. Can add value to the exotics.

Morphettville Race 8 - Robert Sangster Stakes (1200m)

RACE 8 - ESTRIELLA (12) showed some promise earlier in the season and since returning from a spell she has won 3 races on the bounce, including an all-the-way win at Flemington last time out at Stakes Level. She also won at Caulfield fresh up in Group 3 company and deserves a crack at Group 1 glory here. She drops a couple of kilos in weight and can win again. I AM ME (2) finished third fresh up at Moonee Valley in Group 1 class 5 weeks ago and is just as sharp second up. She is among the very best sprinters in the land and with the benefit of a good draw, she is capable of taking this out. ZAPATEO (1) built strongly to win the Group 1 Galaxy at Rosehill last time out when paying 25/1. She is still on the up and has been placed on this track twice in the past. If she happens to strike a wet track, she becomes the one to beat. BENEDETTA (4) won the Group 3 lead-up to this a fortnight ago and can make the most of a superior draw this time. She certainly deserves a Group 1 win. Stick with her.

Rosehill Race 10 - Luke Lukas Handicap (1300m)

RACE 10 - STARMAN (7) enigmatic gelding who gets the right race set-up today. Returns from a 38 day let-up after finding the line late when third over 1350m at Wyong in similar company on March 20. Since fitted with a recent trial placing over 905m at Canterbury. Expecting Rawiller to get the best out of him. IVAN'S HERO (13) undefeated this track and total forgive over an unsuitable trip when a plodding 15th over 1100m at Flemington on March 30. Extra trip suits and looks solid each way value. HUESCA (12) at his peak for this and expecting more after tiring late when seventh over 1550m at Canterbury on April 17. On the quick back-up and will take catching. SKYWOLF (8) fourth-up for this and much better performance when rattled late to finish fifth over 1200m at Mornington on April 20. Rates well over this trip and not to be underestimated.

Caulfield Race 10 - DCE Handicap (1400m)

RACE 10 - A big field and a tough way to finish the day. MAKTOOB (11) carried plenty of weight when producing a pleasing effort first-up at Bendigo. Strip fitter this time and has a nice weight drop. Looks a major threats second-up. MY KHALIFA (14) is over from Adelaide. Has been a model of consistency of late and stable invariably heads home with some money on their trips to Melbourne. Drawn to get a good run and won't be far away. Group 2 winner BANK MAUR (3) was dropped in trip over in Adelaide last time and just battled home. Is far better placed in this contest and can return to winning form. KING MAGNUS (1) is coming off a break. Won over this course and distance last campaign and doesn't look too badly treated after the claim for up-and-coming apprentice. Look for a forward showing.
