Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Randwick, Doomben, Morphettville and Ascot.

RANDWICK: RACE 4 @ 1:55 PM

SEQUESTERED (3) should be going close in a very weak G3. She's won well at Hawkesbury at her past two and should have no issue rising to 2000m. The horse she beat last start has since run fifth in the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes and with even luck she should be winning. EAU DE VIE (4) might be the main danger. She was able to lead at Kembla Grange last time out and bolted in with her maiden. If she gets a cheap lead again she'll give a sight. PREMISE (2) won well at Gosford over 1900m last time out so she'll have no issues with the trip. On the up and worth including. HOOPS (1) has been racing well in Victoria and Tasmania and will be rock hard fit for this.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Sequestered.

DOOMBEN: RACE 7 @ 3:43 PM

SPIRIT QUEEN (11) has taken on good company in her two runs since she broke the maiden at the Sunshine Coast and has performed well to place behind the promising All That Pizzazz both times. Caught the eye when she settled near the tail in the 3YO Jewel last start before rattling home for second. Could prove hard to hold out. LUBRICATION (1) progressed well at his maiden campaign, culminating in a win here in December. Likely to have developed further with maturity and has been readied for his return with two trials. BURNISH GOLD (2) is racing well at this venue, running on two score two back before placing in the Jewel. Contender. EN POINTE (6) won her only third up attempt so may be ready to show more.
SELECTIONS: Spirit Queen to strike off the last-start eye catcher.

MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 7 @ 3:17 PM

LITTLE MISS KUBI (8) is a game filly who is best when saved up for one run. She sat wide at Sandown-Hillside two starts back before unleashing a quick burst to win easily and then just came to the end of her run at Flemington when just going down by a short margin. She is well placed at the weights and her trainer Cliff Brown has great success when visiting this track. With some early cover, she is the horse to beat. PHILONIZE (4) was overhauled late over 1200 metres here last start and is better off over a shorter distance for the time being. She will again make the pace and should be hard to peg back. ANOTHER AWARD (1) was too good for the second selection last time out when coming with a well timed run off a hot pace to score comfortably. The concern today is the five and a half kilo weight rise and he will need a career best effort to be winning again. Include. ALL ABOUT EVE (7) has won two of four fresh up starts and from the perfect inside draw, she should be thereabouts.
SELECTIONS: Little Miss Kubi to win.

ASCOT: RACE 9 @ 5:25 PM

CATCH THESE HANDS (6) has come back well and chasing his third straight win after scoring a commanding 0.7 len win over the 1600m at Albany on March 16. Has plenty of upside and did run in the WA Guineas last time in. The one to beat. MACK MACK (7) is at his peak now after racing on the speed when a narrow winner over 1400m at Pinjarra Scarpside on March 26. Backs up quickly and undefeated this trip. One of the leading contenders again. ROMANCING THE ROCK (1) ran well below his best last time when sixth over 1500m at this track on March 11. Much better than that and best figures keep him in the mix. COMEALILBITCLOSER (3) has put back-to-back wins and deserves a crack at this. Finished fast when a nose winner over today's journey at Pinjarra Scarpside on March 23. Gets a senior rider on here and not to be underestimated.
SELECTIONS: Catch These Hands to win.
