Gosford Race 1 – Seascape
Very impressive debut win from this Michael Freedman trained filly by I Am Invincible who has put a hole in her rivals over the 1100m, showing good speed to hold the front and extending away under Tom Marquand to win by nearly five lengths. She's run a big rating and a strong overall time with the second best speed figure on the card. The R&S rating looks very strong for this class of race and she can measure right up in Saturday grade next start.
Sandown Lakeside Race 3 – Khadime
Nice debut from this Star Turn filly for up-and-coming trainer Dom Sutton, putting 2.5 lengths on her rivals in good time. She got an easy lead which helped but the time stacks up well against the card with the third-fastest speed figure and only a length or so slower than Naiconi, a stakes performed mare, over the same trip later. Khadime ran faster than the 3yo maiden on the card and looks to have a bright future.
