Brisbane Best: Eagle Farm – 1st October 2022

Firmer footing at Eagle Farm on Saturday could see a return to a form by progressive three-year-old Yiska at an each way quote.

Lee Freedman's gelding faded to fourth when resuming on a heavy track but he is better than that having won all three starts at the maiden campaign.

Yiska is sure to strip fitter with a run under the belt and may also appreciate a drop of 200m so is worth another chance.

Highlights is another that makes each way appeal earlier on the program.

The gelding has placed in his last two outings - last time going under by just a nose at Doomben – and Ryan Maloney goes on.

Highlights will be reaching peak fitness fourth up and steps up to a distance where he won his only attempt.

He races well at Eagle Farm so gets his chance to strike.
