Golden Slipper day in Sydney with five mouth-watering Group Ones on the card.

Arguably the best day on the Australian racing calendar this Saturday, headlined by an outstanding Golden Slipper.

Storm Boy had his crown of 'highest rated two-year-old' pinched by Switzerland but I'm fully expecting him to take it back in a big way.

Switzerland had the favours in the Todman and won well, but Storm Boy's win in the Skyline Stakes was only four pounds below and he was first-up there, giving him an ideal platform to run a new peak now.

That said, this market is pretty stifling and close to even money doesn't appeal for Storm Boy, so for a bet we look further afar.

My best on the card is Olentia in the last. She should've won first-up in the Triscay when held up, forced back to the inside and running on strongly to just miss Semana.

That form has already stood up strongly with Semana running Zougotcha to a neck in the Coolmore Classic since, and the key point is that Olentia comfortably beat home C'Est Magique.

That horse has since come out and improved her rating by seven pounds when second to Tintookie in the Wenona Girl and Olentia should've beaten her by more than a length first-up.

She draws well here for McDonald and should be atoning.

For the value play, I'm going back one race to the Group 1 The Galaxy (1100m) where there looks to be plenty of betting opportunity.

It's a fantastic edition and I think the two shortest horses are far too short- Ozzmosis off a very sketchy looking Newmarket and Aft Cabin, who was unlucky first-up but still beaten by Passive Aggressive.

She seems too big here having won the Challenge first-up and is now over double Aft Cabin's price. I don't think there would've been much between them with even luck and at the price, I have to lean her way.

She won this race last year running an identical rating at Racing & Sports which saw her start $13 in the T J Smith- a race with I Wish I Win, Giga Kick and Nature Strip in it. Now she's a similar price in a Galaxy with 54kg and that looks backable.
