GROUPIES RESULTS Autumn 2022  round 14 - The Goodwood

As the Doomben Cup was postponed last Saturday due to the appalling weather, it now appears that it will be run at Eagle Farm on Saturday 28 May along with the Queensland Derby and Kingsford Smith Cup.

Rather than delay the results of The Goodwood and allow the sole scorer Dagz to bask in Group 1 tipping glory, here are the results and updated Leaderboards.

As mentioned, Dagz was the only Groupie to score any points in the Goodwood with his tip for winner Lombardo who came in at big odds and yielded 29.5 points.

This has rocketed Dagz up the Autumn Leaderboard to sit menacingly just 1.6 points behind current leader Oldtimer.

Next Saturday features three Group 1 races at Eagle Farm including the Doomben Cup. As the field and barriers for that race will likely be slightly different, I’ll count previous tips as null and void, to give everyone a fresh start.
