Andrea Atzeni hopes Ka Ying Generation can take advantage of a favourable weight spread in Sunday’s (5 May) HK$4.2 million G3 Queen Mother Memorial Cup Handicap (2400m) at Sha Tin.
Prize money for three of Hong Kong’s premier Group 1 races – the G1 FWD Champions Mile (1600m), G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Mile (1600m) and G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Cup (2000m) – will be increased for the 2024/25 racing season by a total of HK$10 million next season.
