The win went to the odds-on favourite Hrimfaxi in a tight photo with Open Fire under Murabayev who had another good day with two wins in earlier races.  Kawada rode the winner and that was part of a treble for him.  Cours Mirabeau was third.

The Iwatas managed 4 wins between them too!

At Tokyo it was the Tokyo Shimbun Hai which was the feature of the card – over 1600m.  It was another fantastic finish with not much separating the first 5 home which the judge sorted out to be Win Carnelian first by a head from Namuri with a neck back to Pressure Lift and another neck to Justin Café and another neck to Air Lokonois.
