Heart's Cry has died and Sunday's G2s

The son of Sunday Silence out of a Tony Bin mare has passed away in Japan where he had been enjoying a happy retirement.

He's the only horse who ever inflicted a defeat on Deep Impact (in the Arima Kinen) and in his racing career won 5 of his 19 starts including the G1 Dubai Sheema in Japan.  He also raced in England running third in the King George and helped open the world to Japanese horses.

His greatest record perhaps is in his progeny, 63 of whom are black type winners including Cox Plate winner Lis Gracieux.

But racing goes on and this Sunday we have 2 G2s, the Hochi Hai Fillies' Review for the 3y fillies at Hanshin and the Kinko Sho for the older horses at Chukyo.

The Fillies race is very open with Sing That Song by Duramente currently on top on 4.8.  Bouton d'Or by Big Arthur is on 5.8 and Ruh by Daiwa Major on 7.5.  At this stage of the season anything can happen!

At Chukyo Yuji Kawada rides favourite Prognosis on 3.0 with closest rival probably Maria Elena on 3.4 and Kohei Matsuyama in the irons.  Best of the rest could be Feengrotten on 6.5.
