Race Form Analyst | Journalist

Jason Hickson joined the Racing and Sports ('RAS') team in 2003.

Growing up in Tamworth in a family heavily involved in not only competitive sport and horse racing but also journalism, Jason began working freelance in the late 90's before joining the South Australian racing paper TABForm as a writer and form analyst. From there he moved to Thoroughbred Racing SA and was in charge of overhauling TRSA's online resources and website, managing media and press releases as well as his role as an official judge for SA race meetings.

He then joined the RAS team as a form analyst and mixed form assessment and journalism for the next decade.

At RAS, Jason has been heavily involved in the IT department behind the scenes in the data and programming side of the business, in particular coding behind the public face of the RAS huge online presence.
