I've discovered a new way to lose !! I was having a few beers down the pub yesterday afternoon watching the footy and having a few bets and decided to have a small quaddie on at Murwillumbah.
After getting through the first 3 legs I knew I wasn't looking at a fortune if one of my two selections won the last, both being well fancied. Anyway Instructor won. Some ten minutes later I look up at the results and there is another number in the frame. Apparently Instructor's jockey has weighed in light !! Unbelievable.
I've barely read or heard a word about this since.

Any one else having trouble with the NSW Tab on the internet ??
This is the second Saturday in a row where it's crashed and I haven't been able to get my quaddies on.

Watch out for this horse tomorrow.
I was in a pub in Sydney CBD when it had its last run. Unknown to me a couple of people saying they were UB's owners were in there watching the race. I'd already put my cash on her, let's just say I had a fair idea of my 'fate' before the stalls opened. The ground was heavy and she more or less stayed glued to the rails definitely in a slow lane and ran a nice race into 3rd.
After cursing that I hadn't heard them ealier, they let me know that tomorrow should be a day to recoup losses.
Doubt she'll be any fancy prices and I see Corey Brown has taken the ride but one to keep an eye on.

What a tragedy it will be for connections of those horses balloted out if Efficient or Maybe Better or some other horse for that matter drops out on race morning.
Must admit I'd wondered why there were never emergencies declared for the cup. I only discovered at the weekend that the reason is because the Tab can't handle any more than 24 runners !!! WTF ?? That is laughable. Talk about 'tail wagging the dog' !!!

One of the greats but not content with making a prat of himself last year, he's at it again !!
No way on earth the Aussies will win the Ashes series 5-0. Even with all the injuries England have I fully expect this to be a really close and competitive series.

Apparently he has muscle soreness and is 'favouring' a leg. Will be a great shame if he misses the Spring because of this. They should no more later.

Were some great runs today and certain future winners.
Molotov's run was enormous, he wins in another 30 metres, sticking with the stayers, what about Vanquished's run in the last at Sydney ?? Activation's win looked very good, probably didn't beat much, but with the weight did it easily. Utzon was getting home nicely in the Concorde Stakes too. Fast 'n' Famous was absolutely shooper according to Kenny and "will be winning G1's" dunno about that but has a lot of potential and anything from O'Shea has to be respected. Thought Tesbury Jack's run was good as well as the winners of course there were some other good runs in that race also . Obviously El Segundo was sensational, thought Court Command was very good as well, just not sure they are the best of the 3yos. There were a couple of fairly decent ones running earlier down at Caulfield earlier today !!!
