TRIAL POINTERS

RANDWICK September 13: Sebring filly LADY HARLEM worked well to win her 1050m heat (64.49; 34.82).

WARWICK FARM September 9: Invader gelding INVASIVE was placed in two of his five starts last season and is ready to land his maiden in the near future after an impressive win in his 811m heat (47.58; 34.09). Sat second under no pressure until the last 50 metres where he picked up quickly, surging to a soft win by more than a length in a good display of positive ability.

ROSEHILL September 6: Maidens to impress were the previously noted pair SHOHEI and NORTHULDRA finishing 1-2 in their 900m heat (55.59; 34.98)

CANTERBURY September 1: EMBELLER (59.26; 38.29) made a good impression in his 900m heat win.

WARWICK FARM August 29: Sharp all the way winners in the shorter heats included WALKIN'TALKIN' (787m 47.03; 33.84). Nice trials in the maiden heats included WRITROSE.

ROSEHILL August 23: Some excellent trials from the lesser lights including the maiden SHOEHEI.

HAWKESBURY August 22: The maiden heats over 800m should throw up some worthy prospects. Liked the win of NORTHULDRA (47.59; 33.57) but there was plenty of merit in the efforts of others, especially the Godolphin runner PARISAL.

WARWICK FARM August 15: The 806m heat winner ENZINO (48.48; 34.80) has good prospects.

RANDWICK July 26 (Polytrack): KING OF NAPLES failed to run to expectations in his first two starts in March and April but take him on his trial form and he'll be winning races. This was a classy heat win over 780m (46.26; 33.46) going to the line strongly.

HAWKESBURY May 30: The 2YO heats provided plenty of worthy performances. Those to make an impression included the placegetter BEAUTIFUL.

HAWKESBURY February 18: The Godolphin team always perform well at Hawkesbury trials and this session was no exception. The 2YO filly BLACK IRIS, an imposing Exosphere youngster, impressed with her placing in her 800m heat.
