TRIAL POINTERS

ROSEHILL September 20: Plenty have been waiting for unraced colt GOLDEN AGE to make his debut. Easy lead and throttled down for soft win in his 900m heat (55.16; 34.80). He's now won two of his three trials. Second trial by unraced Frankel filly CALL DI impressed with a late surge for second in the open heat for 3YOs. SALAASEL had an easy time finishing second in a quick 900m heat (54.75; 34.31). Fastnet Rock filly with plenty of upside from her debut third at Flemington in July.

RANDWICK September 13: Lightly-raced mare TYPHOON TAAVI looked good winning the fastest 1050m heat (63.29; 34.68) from the front.

WARWICK FARM September 9: The 1215m heat winner IRON MAN (75.74; 36.44) can be followed under suitable conditions. Bjorn Baker always likes to see his horses perform in trials and he would have been pleased with the 900m heat win by promising maiden KAI TAK (55.25; 35.23).

ROSEHILL September 6: A maiden to impress was PUNGO (55.15; 35.20) an unraced So You Think colt in the Waller stable.

WARWICK FARM August 29: A sharp all the way winner in the fastest 784m heat by SINALOA (46.84; 34.08). The unraced trial star EXSENSIBLE recorded his third trial win since May in the fastest 781m heat (46.91; 34.14).

HAWKESBURY August 22: There was merit in the 1000m heat win by the unraced DYSTOPIAN (60.84; 34.58) in his second trial. Subsequent stable switch to Queensland.

RANDWICK August 19: Maidens to make an impression in the 742m heats included the unraced SATURN STAR.

ROSEHILL June 20: The Hawkes stable won a 900m heat for 2YOs with GOLDEN AGE (55.34; 35.53), a strong unraced gelding by I am Invincible who showed he had come on nicely since his first trial.

WARWICK FARM June 10: Unraced Exceed And Excel 3YO EXSENSIBLE has won two of his three trials since his transfer from the country to the David Pfeiffer stable. Looks ready to make an impact on debut after cruising through his 804m maiden heat for a soft win by almost two lengths with plenty in reserve (48.11; 34.18).

WARWICK FARM May 27: The quickest of the five poly heats was recorded in a maiden heat by the unraced Exceed And Excel 3YO EXSENSIBLE (43.17; 33.11).
