ROSEHILL May 19
Inside Grass; Soft 5
13 Heats – 4 x 1030m (3 Open; 1 2 & 3YO); 9 x 900m (2 Open; 4 2YO; 1 3YO; 2 Maiden)
Bjorn Baker's brilliant filly PASSEGGIATA turned on the jets to win her open heat over 900m by almost nine lengths.
A winner of two of her first three starts, she is also unbeaten in trials and it's not the first time we have seen her display her natural speed to win by a big margin.
She raced to an easy lead in the first 100m and at the 500m was leading by six with Rachel King sitting quietly on the Winning Rupert filly. She was in cruise mode over the last 200m and while her rivals were not put under pressure to chase she easily posted the fastest time in the nine heats over 900m (53.19; 34.16).
"Let's guess the margin, we'll play that game."

The answer is nine lengths. Flying @BBakerRacing filly Passeggiata clocks 53.19 in her runaway Rosehill trial win on Friday. Lovero ran a distant second and Shaquero third. @tabcomau pic.twitter.com/QlrTf9FCTm
Her bold running grey stablemate FROSTY ROCKS was the star of the four heats over 1030m, showing again that he is set to make up for lost time after a long break of 15 months since he last raced.
An easy front running winner of his first-up trial at Canterbury on May 5, he repeated with a soft all the way win in the quickest of the four heats over the distance (63.30; 35.60) under another soft ride from Rachel King.
"Two trials back, two impressive wins."

Front-running @BBakerRacing grey Frosty Rocks was up and about easily winning a trial at Rosehill on Friday by 2-1/4 lengths over King Of Hastings with Taraashoq in third. @tabcomau pic.twitter.com/JhlKDMaM5c
The race fit EXCELLADUS also impressed with a strong win in his 1030m heat (63.56; 36.05) after sitting three deep but the eye catcher in this heat came from the former Kiwi mare PIN ME UP. Her surging finish for a close second in her first outing for her new trainer Clarry Conners augers well for her future prospects.
Bjorn Baker's team won five heats with the lightly raced 3YO gelding O'TYCOON showing he has come up well with a strong win in his 900m heat (54.55; 35.06) after standing the leader a big start.
