Inglis has unveiled the supplementary lots for next week's Chairman's Sale, which now includes the dam of a five-time Group 1 winner.

Shamardal mare Berimbau, the dam of star Kiwi sprinter Imperatriz, is one of nine additions to a catalogue that is now up to 109 lots.

Berimbau is in-foal to champion stallion I Am Invincible, meaning she is carrying a full sibling to Imperatriz, who last month added the Group 1 William Reid Stakes (1200m) to a resume that also includes four elite-level wins in New Zealand.

"Elite mares like Berimbau – young, proven and in-foal to a champion sire – rarely, if ever, come up for auction, so we are hugely grateful for the opportunity to bring her to market," Inglis Bloodstock chief executive Sebastian Hutch said.

Also part of the supplementary list at Group 1 Railway Stakes winner Inspirational Girl and Listed winners Scorched Earth and Dashing Legend.

The supplementaries take to 79 the number of fillies or mares to be offered that are Black Type performers or producers with all but 13 of the entries aged 10 or younger, 44 of which are pregnant on their first or second cover.

Headline lots that were part of the initial catalogue include Group 1 winners Montefilia, Icebath, Nimalee, Graceful Girl and Swats That.

A breeding right in Swettenham Stud stallion Toronado will launch the sale, while a share in boom New Zealand stallion Proisir has been added to the supplementary catalogue.

"I didn't think the catalogue could get any better following the initial launch, but there are some incredible lots in the supplementary and it's shaping up to be a special occasion," Hutch said.

The Chairman's Sale will be held next Thursday, May 4, from 4.30pm with the 170-lot Australian Broodmare Sale to follow on Friday May 5.

The broodmare sales will conclude a big week at Inglis's Riverside complex with the 448-lot Australian Weanling Sale to be held on Monday and Tuesday.
