Tattersalls assemble 1552 lots for next month's sale

Group 1 winner Thunder Moon (Zoffany) and the Irish Cesarewitch (2m) winner Waterville (Camelot) are among the 1552 lots catalogued for next month's Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale which will run from Monday 24 to Thursday 27 October at Park Paddocks in Newmarket, with the catalogue now available to view online. 

Recent sale graduates include the Annabel Neasham-trained multiple Group 1 winner Zaaki (Leroidesanimaux) and this year's catalogue features more than 70 Group and Listed performers. 

The largest consignment will be offered by the Castlebridge Consignment who are set to offer 155 horses in training, followed by Jamie Railton with 105, Baroda Stud with 92 and Barton Sales with 58. The largest trainer's consignment is the 47-strong team from Andrew Balding's Park House Stables which includes the Group 2 winner Tactical (Toronado), whilst Richard Hannon's East Everleigh Stables has 45 lots catalogued with Mark Johnston's Kingsley Park to offer 43 horses in training. 

Commenting on the 2022 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training catalogue, Tattersalls Chairman Edmond Mahony said;

"The Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale has a remarkable record of producing top class winners with no less than 76 individual Group/Listed winners in the last three years bought at the sale including seven Group/Grade 1 winners. 

"That continued success is the key to the sales enduring appeal to both domestic and international buyers and this year's catalogue has all the ingredients to appeal to the customary global audience including the significant, high-class consignments from Godolphin, Juddmonte Farms and Shadwell Estates."
