Spirit Of St Louis makes his first appearance since a Perth raid where he was just edged out of the rich Nullarbor at Gloucester Park when last seen.

That was seven weeks ago but he goes very well when fresh and has been kept up to the mark with a trial win.

His deeds at Menangle earlier in the year included a Schweppes Sprint win and a Miracle Mile second so he has strong claims from a favourable draw.

Bondi Lockdown performed below market expectations when midfield as favourite last time but did draw there wide on that occasion. He is much better than that and scored a resuming win two back so can bounce back from a lower draw.

Former Kiwi South Coast Arden kicked off in Australia with a win at Bathurst. He'll strip fitter for that hitout so could go on with it.

Inter Dominion winner I Cast No Shadow is a three-time fresh winner who deserves respect from the ace draw.

In Brisbane Leap To Fame continues his march towards the winter riches when he lines off an easy fresh win where he led throughout. He has been kept up to the mark with a trial win since and the low draw will see him very hard to stop.

He does get some interesting opposition from the in-form Speak The Truth who is drawn on his outside. The gelding is building an impressive strike rate and is two from two this time in, returning from a successful hit-and-run mission to Sydney.

The Flashing Red is the feature event of the Albion Park program and is stacked with chances.

Turn It Up has to give away 20m under the handicap conditions but is flying having put four wins together at this circuit, last start leading to cruise home by 13m. He is going well enough to win again from this mark.

Hot And Treacherous has been freshened since landing his first Australian win since joining the Butler yard but has been kept up to the mark with a trial and could go on with it now.

Manila Playboy resumes but goes very well fresh winning four of six attempts and will be ready to go off three trials.
