Race 1

#1 CLASSIC MOON has endured a number of injuries and set back's throughout his short career but he's fast enough to win races. He was deemed a roarer in August 2022 and subsequently underwent laser surgery, which was a success judged on his recent first up run in a year. If he does everything right out the stalls and continues breathing with out concern then he'll likely have to much for most of these.
#7 HONG KONG HALL was the beaten short priced favourite down the Sha Tin straight on debut and can again be entertained. A straight 1000m contest can be a challenge when pressure goes on and the experience got the better of him over the final stages. The step up to 1200m should allow some comfort through the first half which ultimately assists at the other end.
#3 HAPPY SOUL hasn't missed the frame at his past four starts with his win two back ending up a dominant display. Transferring that form from Happy Valley to Sha Tin is the challenge now faced and the middle pin gate doesn't help. He's also backing up quickly after racing at Happy Valley last Wednesday night, but that's a positive with the edge now off.
#11 COLONEL has spent the majority of his career spinning around Happy Valley but a recent change of scenery produced the desired result. With the inside barrier to leave from, and the running rail out as far as it can go, a perfect opportunity to lead and kick presents itself.
#4 CAMINO makes his race debut and has displayed natural gate speed in all trials contested. A position outside the expected leader COLONEL is his for the taking and together they should
dictate the pace. What he's got to offer when placed under pressure is always a concern, but he'll be in a striking position all the way.

Race 4

#11 GIVE WAY PLEASE has never been as close to a win as he is right now with two previous runs providing encouragement. Karis Teetan rolled forward from the outside barrier last start and he'll be forced to do the same from gate nine. With a number of the opposition preferring to race off speed a clear opportunity to lead all the way presents.
#7 FORTUNE MASTER got the money by defeating GIVE WAY PLEASE last start but the margin was only slender. The barrier is awkward and the weights in favour of the later, which makes it tricky, but he's racing in consistent form. Jamie Richards and Zac Purton have formed a successful partnership during the trainers debut season, and you can guarantee that'll count for plenty.
#6 EARNEST FEELING was a dominant winner two back but couldn't back it up. Anton Hamelin was the rider responsible for the aforementioned victory and is coincidently back in the saddle. Track work and wellness seem in the right space leading in and he's capable of turning it around.
#5 BEAUTY NOVA is another who's capable of finding a win provided he arrives in the right frame of mind. He started favourite in a race not dissimilar to this in January and got within a length of the win. Something similar has him amongst the numbers here and he should be a reasonable price.
#13 TRAVEL GLORY has thoroughly enjoyed the change of venue from Happy Valley to Sha Tin and is considered an each way chance. In fact, he hasn't run a bad race all season but obviously lacks a winning desire. Held up at a vital stage cost him victory last start but he remains a ruff chance of getting it done.

Race 10

#12 UNIVERSAL HORIZON finds himself up in class following a luckless defeat last start. With a big reduction in weight and a nice run in transit expected he's well placed to work in to the finish. He's relatively unexposed with scope to improve and is rated a strong chance to win.
#3 SOLID IMPACT has taken time getting use to the rhythm of Hong Kong lifestyle but is on the verge of winning races. He possesses a strong turn of foot, which should be suited to the open spaces of Sha Tin, and the rise in distance looks ideal. With Bowman riding for his good mate David Hall, I'd expect they go close to winning.
#7 PARTERRE is yet to win a race in Hong Kong but he's not without a chance. He appreciates a solid tempo and like's to race handy which are precisely the conditions expected today. Holding the hard finisher's is again the test he must pass but he's close and deserves respect.
#6 JUMBO LEGEND is as committed to the task as you could hope but finds the 1200m to short, and the Happy Valley mile a fraction far. The 1400m is now the ideal option but unfortunately his Sha Tin record is poor. He's ready and hitting the line hard but must cope with the change of venue.
#1 ERIMO has struggled his way through the middle part of the season after winning twice over 1400m early on. Shouldering big weights on a regular basis has taken a toll and combined with a wide draw it seems a task. Nevertheless, he's honest and worthy of consideration for all your wider exotics.
