 Race 1: Ashley Handicap

#6 Tsuen Wan Glory has a bit more ability than what his record lets on. He gets a favourable draw now and it wouldn't surprise to see Matthew Chadwick roll forward for the lead. If so, he can win. #2 Beauty Nova is sound and steps onto the dirt now. Key booking here with Hugh Bowman up. Big watch. #9 Gold Comet has struggled to recapture his best. Even still, his latest trial was sound and chances are he's over the odds. Take an each way ticket on him. #3 Colourful Prince draws well and has shown ability on dirt. Next best.

 Race 2: Cameron Handicap

#8 Boys Party can hit the front here and it wouldn't surprise to see him kick on and win. The step back in trip appears suitable and this contest is well within his grasp. #12 Wah May Luck turned his form around to finish second last start. He did well that day and with improvement he gets every chance again. The light weight will give him every opportunity. #2 Asian One catches the eye with Zac Purton up. His first-up run on the dirt was sound and he can take another step forward here. #4 Encore looks close to a first win. Keep safe.

 Race 3: Carnarvon Handicap

#6 General Ace made hard work of it from the rear of the field. Expect he's better than what he showed that day and any improvement has him favoured here. He's well-schooled and will improve sharply. #5 Fast Buck was sound on debut. He draws ideally and the services of Silvestre de Sousa have him in contention. #3 Golden Bull did well on debut to grab second. He's in solid form and does shape as a very nice prospect for the future. #1 Sugar Sugar heads to Sha Tin. He's better at the Valley with his last win being impressive. Keep safe.

 Race 4: Hankow Handicap

#4 Spontaneous gets a few favours here. Firstly, he steps down to Class 4 and secondly, he returns to the dirt, which is where he scored his latest win. The draw this time isn't ideal but he appears capable of overcoming this hindrance. #12 Miracles is a solid chance on the dirt. The light weight ensures his chance. #3 Light Of Wanshi is first-up. He caught the eye with an impressive trial under Zac Purton recently. He's wound-up to perform fresh. #2 Ice Legend can make his presence felt. Next best.

 Race 5: Middle Handicap

#3 Skyey Supreme should find the front here. He can take catching from that position, especially back in Class 4 with Angus Chung's 10lb claim in action. One to beat. #11 Chater Pins has been a frustrating horse across his career. He's clearly talented but his racing pattern is costly. Still, his form on the dirt has been sound and he gets his chance. #1 Boom Alliance is racing well. He can improve following his first look on the dirt last start. #9 Sun Of Makfi commands respect. He's consistent and pairs favourably with Zac Purton.

Race 6: Peninsula Golden Jubilee Challenge Cup Handicap

#8 Flying Dragon should have already collected a win this term. Even still, he's holding his form and the outside gate is favourable. #5 Superb Boy is on the rise. He won well first-up and should be able to improve following that effort. #2 Brilliant Way returns first-up but he always gets his chance settling close to the speed. The outside draw looks a plus down the straight for him. #9 Ka Ying Spirit is chasing back-to-back wins. He's in superb form at the minute with two wins from his last three starts.

 Race 7: Humphreys Handicap

#6 Royal Bomb took a liking to the dirt two runs back when finishing fourth. He can improve off that effort here, especially with Hugh Bowman's services now being applied by trainer Caspar Fownes. #1 True Legend should roll forward in attempt to do what he did last start. Expect he does so, however, his task may be more difficult this time from gate 12. #14 Yes We Can is just in superb form. Don't discount. #5 Handsome Twelve is also holding his condition very well. He has the gate to contend strongly.

 Race 8: Mody Handicap

#2 Marado won well last start and there is little to suggest he can't do the same again. He's in form, remains in the grade and gets Zac Purton up once more. One to beat. #6 Beau Gosse closed well first-up behind Superb Capitalist. He caught the eye there and any further improvement will hold him in good stead. #4 Blissful Star has refused to win across his career, however, he is still racing very well. Expect he's around the mark again. #1 Good News has the class edge and will improve second-up. Strong booking of Hugh Bowman.

 Race 9: Nathan Handicap

#2 A Pal has a stack of class and he can win again. He did really well last start and he's more than capable of getting another win in this grade. Gate one enhances his chances. #11 Global Harmony is closing in on a first win. He did well first-up at Happy Valley and should be better suited to Sha Tin this time. This is a favourable switch. #3 Amazing Victory is a two-time winner this term. He can make his presence felt once more. Strong booking with Zac Purton engaged. #8 California Redwood is closing in on a first win. Big watch.

 Race 10: Salisbury Handicap

#6 Silver Fig's first-up run was largely inconclusive on the dirt. He's since been on the turf but does make a favourable switch of surfaces here. Expect he can turn his form around. #12 Super Win Dragon has turned into a machine on the dirt. He's in superb form – career-best even – and this contest is well within his grasp. Only concern is the class-rise. #4 Apache Pass is in form but it's interesting to see him remain over this trip as opposed to stepping up to a mile. #3 Ka Ying Star is first-up. He should roll forward and get his opportunity.
