Three NAR meetings set for Wednesday in Japan, with racing at Kasamatsu, Ohi (Tokyo City Keiba) and Himeji. The 12-race card at Ohi (Tokyo City Card) spearheads the day's action with a handful of solid fields assembled towards the back-end.

The form's been done and we've landed on our best bets for each of the meetings.

Kasamatsu Race 6 - #5 Nihonpiro Perry

Siding with the four-year-old entire Nihonpiro Perry to get the job done for us at Kasamatsu. The son of Grade 1 winner Kurofune has returned in solid order this preparation scoring back-to-back placings, most recently beaten a long neck over the track and trip. Gets a key jockey switch to Maki Mukoyama who holds a 2/2 record aboard and shoulders a handy 22% strike rate from his last 50 rides. Expect Nihonpiro Perry to settle ahead of his immediate threat Dragoste and prove too hard to reel in.

Ohi (Tokyo City Keiba) Race 7 - #8 Direct Flight

Trusting in-form hoop Taito Mori to be a touch too good for them aboard what looks his best chance of the day, Direct Flight. The seven-year-old entire has been thereabouts in his two runs back but has just struggled to land the winning blow. Stripping fitter, Direct Flight boasts a solid record third-up and should be nearing his peak. Brave Threat looks the main danger but has to overcome a wide alley.

Himeji Race 1 - #7 Tosen Limited

Looking to strike early at Himeji where Tosen Limited looks awfully hard to beat in this line-up. The six-year-old entire chased solidly to the line here at the latest when falling a long neck shy of the winner. The son of Tosen Bright strips rock-hard fit for five outings this campaign and now gets the key booking of leading rider Tomohiro Yoshimura to pilot. Clear top pick.
