At Nakayama on the Dirt is the Grade 3 March Stakes over 1800m, where William Barows returns and looks tough to beat in an even race. While at Hanshin is the Listed Rock Stakes over a mile on turf, Rhinebeck will be looking to exact another win over Noruka Soruka.

Hanshin Race 10 - #1 Time Of Flight 

Smart galloper who was strong fresh and can find winning form. A veteran of just seven starts, the son of Deep Impact returned in similar grade and after settling midfield found the line strongly, just missing when runner-up behind Segen.

That was over 3000m and he comes back to 2400m this time in similar company. He has a win and two minors from three starts here and worth noting he is unbeaten in two starts when second-up. Drawn barrier one he will sit back and wind up late.

Ho O Eclair was third in the same race behind Segen and looks the biggest danger. He raced on the speed and fought on gamely, finishing just half a length from the winner. The entire was just a neck behind Time Of Flight and meets him a kilo better so if runs up to that effort will be tough to rein in again.

Nakayama Dirt Race 7 - #6 Coastal Terrace 

Honest type overdue for another win. Returned from a break in a similar race here at the same journey but drew wide, pushing forward and battling on gamely to just miss. Worth noting his sole career win was when second-up and he has placed 2/3 here.

Jockey Akihide Tsumara has been aboard three times for three minors and was aboard at his last run. This time though he has drawn ideally, fitter again and will take running down.

In an even race, Bennelong Point will be primed for a big race fresh and rates well on his last run when placed in similar grade. He has drawn to stalk a good pace and should be winding up strongly.

Nakayama Race 10 - #12 Decoration 

Form galloper aiming for a hat-trick of wins. While most of his rivals struggle for their best, this lightly-raced galloper is flying, scoring two back over 2000m before an 1800m win last time in similar company. There he raced close to the speed and lifted strongly, coming over the top to win narrowly.

Given a month between runs as he comes back a furlong, it's likely he'll be beaten for speed early here but will wind up strongly. He has a great record here and also a super honest record at the shorter journey. He looks well placed dropping a kilo on a last start win and if he can run up to his latest figure the four-year-old looks the one to beat again.

Aventurier returns from a break and looks a big threat fresh. He is coming off a last start win at the course and distance and does go well when returning from a break. His best figures are up to this and despite drawing out while also be winding up strongly.

Chukyo Dirt Race 6 - #5 Deep Gravity 

An interesting move by the Take stable this prep to switch this son of Deep Impact back in trip. After struggling last time in work at 1600-1800m, he resumed over today's course and distance a fortnight ago and found the line with great purpose to get up for second. His only win came when second-up from a spell so it is anticipated he will improve off that run. A 14-day turnaround is a positive sign from the stable that four-year-old came through that first-up run well. From a nice gate he looks a huge chance.

My Red Star is a lightly raced four-year-old back from an 11-week spell. Opened last prep with a game second here over 1800m. This is short of his usual distance range, but he has plenty of natural pace and should cope.
