RACE 1

SESON – Is a former winner over this course and distance and drops back to class five where he was last successful back in November of last season. Looks well placed here.

INTREPID – Proven class 5 galloper with two wins at this course and distance. Comes into this race one point off her last win and should have plenty of market support.

IBEX – Scored nicely in Maiden grade last start on the Polytrack. The step up to 1400m looks good as he drew away in nice style that day he won. Gets in well at class 5 after a maiden win.

MALIBU BEACH – Consistent galloper who is proven at the grade and his two starts at this distance has resulted in two minor placings. Demands attention off his form.

RACE 2

PETROGRAD – Nunes returns from injury, and this looks like a nice ride for him to get back in the winner's circle. Should naturally improve off that second placing behind Ejaz who is a very handy galloper.

BESTSELLER – Well bred gelding who is a half-brother to four-time Kranji winner Always Innocent & Australian group 3 winner Able Reign. Has the family ties to his name and trials show ability.

JANUARY – Well bred by Swiss Ace out of Musically who has thrown some winners who seem to appreciate these sprint distances. Looked nice trialing last week finishing second in good time and could go well first start.

SABAH WIN – Three-year-old by Turn Me Loose making his race debut. We have seen this stable with plenty of winners in the last twelve months and trialed nicely under Woodworth in lead up to this. Watch for any betting moves.

RACE 3

STAR EMPIRE – Caught the eye flashing home after settling mid field and chasing the winner War Frontier last weekend. On the quick backup but very nice form around his recent starts.

WHAT YOU LIKE – A lot to like about his recent starts at this point in his career. Should have nice speed in the race to see him finish strongly as is his custom. Each way play.

LIM'S UNIQUE – All three of his career wins have come at this course and distance. We haven't seen him win since January of this year where he was two points higher than he currently sits.

SUPER SIX – One of our veteran gallopers who keeps surprising us with some eye-catching runs. He was superb running second last start, and you can't ignore him in this division.

RACE 4

CON SPERANZA – Class dropper who has looked prominent in group races this year. Should be hard to beat in this grade.

ISTATABA – Strong winner who lifted late under a light weight. Didn't do it as easy as you'd like to see last start but still deserves respect this weekend with winning form.

BORN TO WIN – Beaten just under a length to Istataba and gets a nice weight swing on her this time around. Long course would be preferred with this runner, but he is racing well enough to figure in the top three, look for him late.

GREEN STAR – Should be up on speed again or just in behind the leaders. Has been competitive at this class all year, one of the main chances.

RACE 5

WINNING STRIDE – Debut runner from one of our leading stables. Has trialed nicely in New Zealand before arriving here and his one trial win here shows there is some ability under the hood.

FREE AND HAPPY – Came from well back to record the fastest final 400m in 24.36 behind Ibex last start. Seems to be improving each start and looks a multiples player.

RAISING SIXTY-ONE – First starter from the strong Fitzsimmons stable. Hasn't been too bad at the trials and market support will be the best guide to how he performs.

RAFFIE – Has race experience on his side. Should jump and be nice and positive for Pinheiro from barrier one. Can improve in this field.

RACE 6

IN ALL HIS GLORY – Last two starts have indicated that this horse has really turned a corner. Heads to the top of the weight scale but on previous performances, he still looks among the winning hopes.

SUPER IMPACT – Returning here first up following a break after the Derby. Blinkers third up were a revelation and it's good to see that they stay on here for his return, keep him safe.

CHEVAL BLANC – Ran well in behind In All His Glory last start. Steps over to the turf this weekend where he is yet to win in Singapore but gets a 4kg weight swing in his favor this time around. Respect.

NOWYOUSEE – No luck last start in the straight. Proven to carry weight and has performed recently in much stronger races than this. With any luck in running, he should be in the finish.

RACE 7

FIRST CHIEF – Scored a nice win at his most favored distance of 1200m last start beating Golden Tiger. Should be positive again from the draw and when he hits form, he usually holds it for a while.

LIM'S WISH – Sits at the top of the rating scale after a strong third behind War Frontier last month. War Frontier has since won again and brings good form to this race. Watch the market for support.

NORTHERN SUN – Was a scratching when last entered and finds a race where his best stats have come in the past. If the speed is on early and he is in striking range on the turn he will be a big chance.

CHIVALRIC KNIGHT – Makes his class five debut at start number twelve. Has only been beaten on average three lengths at his last few starts, and this is a big change in the easy sense for him.

RACE 8

KARISTO – Should be among the hopes again with the weight relief. Has run second his last two starts since returning to class 4, consistent and honest.

LIM'S CRAFT – Last start winner who has been racing in great form of late. Untested in recent trial and looks ready to run another great race.

SUMMER WIND – How much this horse has improved recently is incredible. Looks the leader once again, on recent form he should be in front for a long way, good luck to those chasing.

EAGLE EYE – Will appreciate the speed brought into the race by Summer Wind. Should see him winding up from the back if they roll along, 1400m is ideal.

RACE 9

AWESOME CONQUEROR – Weight seemed to get the better of him last start when beaten by God's Gift. His two career wins have come at this course and distance with a few minor placings.

GLOBAL SPIRIT – Finished second in the God's Gift race over this same distance last start. Seems to be racing in a good patch of form and since trialed nicely in lead up for this.

SEE YAH – Consistent galloper who is never too far away from the winner. Should be nice and handy in the run and look a danger at some point.

RICH FORTUNE – Caught the eye coming from well back in the field to finish second behind City Hall on the Polytrack. Should appreciate the lightweight and look for him to flash home.

RACE 10

WEALTH ELITE – Weighted incredibly well here to run a great race. Has been running good times lately and is coming out of race where he couldn't get any clear running at a crucial stage.

FROM THE NAVY – Trialed the house down Tuesday morning under a hold. Looks to be going well enough to make an impression here this weekend.

QUARTER BACK – Ran a strong second to Illustrious after being caught wide throughout. That form should hold up, top three hope with a nice claim to assist him this weekend.

HADEER – His best would see him winning a race like this comfortably however, he seems to have been off his game a little the last two starts. Hopefully he can turn it around this weekend at his favorite track and distance with the ace draw.

RACE 11

TIGER ROAR – Solid win at class 2 last start. Should be at almost peak fitness here ahead of his jump to the mile and looks hard to beat once again if he can overcome the wide draw.

RELENTLESS – Stewards Cup winner returning here from a brief let up after minor placing in the Derby. On track for a big end to the year as a logical player in the distance features, hopefully kicks back off with a strong performance here.

PROSPEROUS RETURN – Coming off a strong minor placing in behind Tiger Roar. Looks a good form reference and comes into this third up so fitness will be no concern.

BIG HEARTED – Third up this weekend with another G1 campaign on the cards for the former Gold Cup winner. Never won over the mile but looks in good order ahead of career start number 24.

RACE 12

PACIFIC STAR – Wide without cover for a good chunk of the race last start and arguably didn't get its chance. Has trialed, happy to forgive and respect here again with Nunes jumping in the saddle.

SILENT IS GOLD – Returning from let up following 3-year-old series in the middle of the year. Trials have been solid, could fire here first up.

BUURAQ – Last start winner who had to be tough to beat a well weighted class 3 runner who had downgraded a looked a big chance. Respect the performance, let see if he can back it up here.

LAST SAMURAI – 17 length trial winner in between runs. Time wasn't overly impressive however, this horse only knows one way to race and should be the one they are chasing at the turn, will he have enough in the tank to hold them out. Place hope.
