1. Aspen Grove (Mark Enright/J A Stack)

Aspen Grove showed mixed form during her two-year-old career and the victory in the Group 3 Newtownaar Stud Irish EBF Stakes was her maiden success at odds of 66/1. She returned with a third in the Group 3 Cornelscourt Stakes behind Zarinsk and cannot be entirely dismissed if she shows her best form.

2. Breege (Jason Hart/John Quinn)

Breege makes her seasonal reappearance and was a consistent performer during her two-year-old campaign. Winner of a maiden at Wetherby, she placed twice at Group 3 level before finishing fifth behind Blue Rose Cen in the Group 1 Prix Marcel Boussac at Longchamp. A Group 1 of this standard may be beyond her.

3. Comhra (Rory Cleary/J S Bolger)

Comhra is yet to feature at Group level and would have to significantly step up from her recent fifth in the Group 3 Cornelscourt Stakes behind Zarinsk to go close.

4. Dower House (Wayne Lordan/A P O'Brien)

Full-sister to Group performers such as Churchill, Clemmie and Blenheim Palace, Dower House is a beautifully bred Galileo filly who is yet to win at Black Type level. Her best performance was a third in the Listed Victor McCalmont Memorial Stakes over 1m1½f at Gowran Park and future entries suggest the yard think she will be better over further.

5. Eternal Silence (Shane Foley/Jessica Harrington)

Although yet to shed her maiden tag, Eternal Silence has placed in some good races, including a well-beaten third in the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes behind Tahiyra. Her dam Princess Highway won the 1m4f Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot so a longer trip will probably suit.

6. Jackie Oh (Seamie Heffernan/A P O'Brien)

Out of Group 1 1000 Guineas second Jacqueline Quest, Jackie Oh is an exciting prospect for the O'Brien yard. She won her maiden over a mile at Naas on debut before a good second in the Listed Salsabil Stakes over 1m2f. The good ground has the potential to spark further improvement.

7. Meditate (Ryan Moore/A P O'Brien)

The pick of the O'Brien runners, Meditate was one of the top juvenile fillies last year with multiple Group victories. Her only defeats came behind Tahiyra and Lezoo in the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes and the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes and she ended the year with a win in the Group 1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. O'Brien's horses did not run up to form on Guineas weekend so her sixth in the Group 1 1000 Guineas could possibly be upgraded.

8. Tahiyra (Chris Hayes/Dermot Weld)

Winner of the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes on her second and final start of a juvenile, Tahirya was a hot favourite for the Group 1 1000 Guineas on seasonal reappearance despite question marks about her participation in the preceding week. She finished second in the thrilling battle with Mawj but it seemed likely that the Dermot Weld-trained filly would come out on top in any future meetings.

9. Tarawa (W J Lee/Dermot Weld)

The second string Aga Khan filly in the race, Tarnawa deserves consideration after a good second in the Group 3 Cornelscourt Stakes behind Zarinsk on seasonal reappearance. She looks likely to improve again and could be a dark horse for the placings.

10. You Send Me (Colin Keane/J A Stack)

Winner of a Cork maiden on reappearance, You Send Me produced a big effort to finish second in the Group 3 Amethyst Stakes over a mile at Leopardstown. Better ground would be a question mark, but she is potentially good value at current odds of 25/1.
