The C&C comes in as Race 8 and has 9 races for this last G1 of the Hong Kong racing year.  It seems almost impossible to tip against Romantic Warrior so we won't – he's a top class horse and this time will be ridden by Zac Purton.  Unbackable odds of 1.2, with the obvious quinellas being with Russian Emperor who is a nice horse but may not be quite up to the level of Romantic Warrior.

The other horse who has been impressing of late is Straight Arron – he's on 6.6 for Fownes – Vincent Ho.

The first of the Class 2 is the Race 4, River Verdon over 1000m and 8 runners.  We Are Hero is on 1.9 for Mann-Bowman and Run Run Cool 6.2 for Lor-Bentley.

Race 9 is the Vengeance of Rain over 1400m and here Red Lion is not the name of a pub but of a horse with talent.  He's 1.7 for Size-Purton.  We are going a bit wide with the stablemate Erimo under Alex Badel on 14.0 and Majestic Colour Lor-Lau is on 6.5. There are 11 starters.
