Saturday sees the running of the Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot stakes at Newmarket for the girls over the 1600m.  Jane Chapple-Hyam's Saffron Beach has been a star turn for the stable and looks like continuing to be so in this.  William Buick is taking the ride and he has partnered her before so the 11/8 quote looks about right.

Homeless Songs was originally entered for a race at Longchamps but Dermot Weld has opted to stay closer to home and race her here.  Chris Hayes has the ride and they are on 5/2.  Laurel is reputed to be very promising and has been supplemented for this.  Robert Havlin rides for the Gosdens.
