The Kingdom of Bahrain Sun Chariot G1 was run and saw a shock defeat for the favourite Saffron Beach.  The winner was Fonteyn, trained by Kevin Ryan and ridden by Neil Callan who coincidently is off to ride in Bahrain shortly.

The supplemented Laurel justified the Gosdens faith in her by coming second in front of her stablemate Grande Dame.

Homeless Songs had been scratched from running in France to run here but she had no luck and weakened finishing at the rear of the field.
