This year's winner also won this in 2021 and his travel plans are as yet unknown but it would be surprising if they did not travel to Meydan.  In 2021 he had a spell after this and returned in the Autumn to finish 2nd to Loves Only You at Sha Tin in December.

Dannon the Kid seems to have suffered some sort of injury as he dropped right back through the field after sitting close to the head of the field for most of the race.

Highi Iguazu is out of an Argentinian mare La Liz hence the "Iguazu" is his name for the famous waterfalls in Argentina.
