Very few Golden Slipper winning fillies go on to win Oaks race and Fireburn ($3.50) is a huge chance to carry that out being favourite for the fillies classic.

However she will have some company from Renaissance Woman ($4.50) who will love the added ground and Affaire A Suivre ($6) who is already a G1 winner via the Australasian Oaks.

Last chance to make the Stradbroke field comes via the G2 Moreton Cup (1200m) with some horses desperate to win a race.

Quantico ($4.50) must be close to a win here but others like Clemenceau ($6) and Prince Of Boom ($4.50) come out of good form races.

A rich contest for the mares is the Magic Millions National Classic where Kiku ($6) tries to win the race back to back. She is joined by some in form stable mates like Frumos ($4.50), Pretty Amazing ($11) and Thalassophile ($8).

Other races of note on the card are the Listed Queensland Day Stakes (1200m) for the 3yos, Listed Spear Chief (1500m) for the milers, Listed The Phoenix (1500m) featuring the youngsters and the Listed Lightning Handicap (1000m) for the short coursers.
