RACE 1 - 1:20PM Irongate Australia Class One Plate (1200 METRES)

Baby Alex was impressive taking runs between horses before winning by 2.4 lengths at Murray Bridge. Her last 200m was her best 200m and she looks a filly with upside. Pretentious Lass and Alpine Fun dead heated this track and trip last time out. They both have solid claims and looks to have upside. Dorothy Rose resume here and is now with Aaron Bain. She was spelled after winning a Clare maiden. River can run a cheeky race fresh.

SELECTIONS: 8 BABY ALEX, 3 Alpine Fun, 6 Pretentious Lass, 4 Dorothy Rose
PLAY: Taking the $3.50 about BABY ALEX in early markets.

RACE 2 - 1:55PM Adelaide Plains Bloodstock Maiden Plate (1100 METRES)

Pierre De Lune was OK on debut beaten 4.8 lengths behind Vintage Folly last November. He has jumped out nicely ahead of his return and has been scratched a couple of times recently. Tan Tat Beau was with Robert Hickmott and then Peter Moody before landing in SA with Aaron Bain and is coming off a Murray Bridge trial win. He is a big watch here. Katina Joy ran well behind Baby Alex last time at Murray Bridge. Big Shaq ran home nicely for 5th behind Lancelotto on debut and draws out here. Maddison Miss ran a cheeky race when 4th behind Galactic Rock when on speed at Murray Bridge last time and draws the inside with no weight.

SELECTIONS: 4 PIERRE DE LUNE, 5 Tan Tat Beau, 8 Katina Joy, 3 Big Shaq
PLAY: Backing PIERRE DE LUNE.

RACE 3 - 2:30PM GC & J Constructions Maiden Plate (1700 METRES)

A few progressive types here who all will appreciate stepping out in trip. LUCASAYD strips fitter for one run back from almost a year off. He finished 4th behind On No George at Murray Bridge last time with WICHITA LINEMAN running 2nd in the same race. That pair should be fighting out the finish. FLITTELL comes off a good run when 2nd behind Melody Shine at Balaklava last week and should also like the extra trip. AL RANCHERO was specked at a price behind Big Man At Night at Balaklava. He wasn't beaten far behind Melody Shine there last time and he gets blinkers again.

SELECTIONS: 3 LUCASAYD, 9 Wichita Lineman, 2 Flittell, 1 Al Ranchero
PLAY: Backing LUCASAYD each-way again.

RACE 4 - 3:05PM Coopers Brewery Class One Plate (2100 METRES)

SO BENE has only won the one race but has been placed 7 of her 18 starts including a 2nd in the Group 3 Lord Reims earlier in the year. She's fitter for two runs back and comes off a good effort behind Moscow Red, who has won again since, at Morphettville. Out to 2100m looks perfect for her. SEA OF SECRETS was a winner here on a heavy track in June and comes off a good effort when runner-up behind short Stories at Morphettville. The jump in trip looks ideal. VANITY STAR improved out in trip behind Melody Shine at Balaklava last week and jumps again in distance. TRIANGULUM has been placed his past couple and draws a good barrier with the claim. RAPID RIDE had OK form before a shocker at Murray Bridge behind Wolf Prince last time. He's been placed at 4 of 9 here.

SELECTIONS: 10 SO BENE, Sea Of Secrets, 11 Vanity Star, 5 Triangulum
PLAY: Keen to SO BENE but she's very short for horse with just the one win.

RACE 5 - 3:40PM Cornerstone Stud Benchmark 58 Handicap (1100 METRES)

SUGGESTIVE MISS resumes and was an odds-on favourite when beaten at KI in February before winning at Oakbank maiden at $1.30. She was good running 2nd behind Disco Tilmorn here two runs back and spelled after running 7th behind Shopster again here. She looked good winning a recent Morphettville jump-out. SANDPIPER was runner-up behind Celtic Vader at Morphettville on debut and won her maiden here in between two OK runs in much better class behind the likes of See You In Heaven and Twin Stars. She was OK in a recent jump-out at Morphettville and looks a horse with a lot of upside. DEEVINE was a winner here four starts back and had strong market support when 4th behind Daring Move on the Parks last time. ROCK HARD can run a cheeky race from the inside draw. BETTA EDDIE was well ridden to beat Kungka Maru two runs back and then OK when beaten 3 lengths behind Elsa's Pride at Morphettville. He's on his home track. CARTIER TIARA has a good record here and beat Sitting Bull at Bordertown two runs back and was OK behind The Magistrate at Murray Bridge. LAKEHURST is fitter for one run back when beaten 4.2 lengths behind Angel Like. He was a winner here in May. GALACTIC ROCK comes off a narrow Murray Bridge maiden win beating Another Ponzi while HATEECH trialled smartly before only battling first-up from a spell and her form last time in would have her in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: 9 SUGGESTIVE MISS, 10 Sandpiper, 1 Deevine, 11 Rock Hard
PLAY: Something on SUGGESTIVE MISS.

RACE 6 - 4:15PM Matrix Solar Solutions Benchmark 54 Handicap (1200 METRES)

CENTRE SCOOTA hasn't race since January when 2nd behind The Ladies Man at KI. He has been placed at 2 of 5 here and Todd Pannell rides and this is a winnable assignment. FRIENDLY GHOST has been runner-up his past two behind Sand Cat here and then Nana Dulce on the Parks. He draws a good gate and has Stubbie in the saddle, he gets his chance. PRINCESS SALLY comes off a good run beaten 3 lengths behind Graceful Eagle at Balaklava last week. She draws a nice gate. CHEVITE was well beaten at Balaklava but usually grows a leg here on his home deck. Likewise RUSTYDUSTYSUNSHINE has a great record here and was OK behind an in-form Daskulya at Balaklava last start. ZERO INN was OK behind Wine From Tears at Murray Bridge last start. SAND CAT comes out of the same race and was a winner here four runs back.

SELECTIONS: 6 CENTRE SCOOTA, 1 Friendly Ghost, 10 Princess Sally, 4 Chevite
PLAY: Something each-way CENTRE SCOOTA at $8.

RACE 7 - 4:50PM Trimboli Services Benchmark 54 Handicap (1500 METRES)

GOOD APPROACH is racing well placed at his past two on his home track at Murray Bridge. He's been placed here, he draws out but that might work to his advantage late in the day. JACKS A CRACKER comes off a good run when 3rd behind Magical Ride at Mindarie-Halidon at the weekend. He draws out but does race well here. APPLIED backs up from a good run when he made ground at big odds beaten 3.9 lengths behind Fight For Freedom at Balaklava last week and the jump in trip suits his chances. RANGER CEE JAY was runner-up at Bordertown two runs back and has been placed at 2 of 5 here. ZIP AKEED can run well from a good barrier and is a winner here.

SELECTIONS: GOOD APPROACH, Jacks A Cracker, Applied, Ranger Cee Jay
PLAY: Something on APPLIED at each-way odds.
