The mother and sons team have a dozen runners throughout the program with Quayde on several favourites.

Among them in the sixth event Louie's Legacy an impressive last start Sapphire winner who will be a firmer as Stratum Pride, a powerful recent winner there, has been declared for Saturday's Rosehill Gardens Highway with Nash Rawiller.

"I see that, probably makes this my best for the day, drawn inside, gutsy both times I've won on him and we'll be on pace," Quayde offers.

The ACT based former Queenslander was also upbeat about the prospects of maiden Too Sharp in race two and Belleistic Kids in the following race.

"Really nice debut by Too Sharp, a stack of speed in the race, the '1000m' was too short, we were last and the way he closed suggests 1200m will be ideal,'' he said.

"He's progressed and trained on the track is always a big advantage.

"We drew the extreme outside with Belleistic Kids last start. Super run, still had the speed to cross and lead, was first up from a spell, only got us late and sure to be improved.

"There's more speed in this, not sure we can lead again but we're drawn to be close enough."

Meanwhile Quayde, who has trained as a pilot, was considering a returning home after an unproductive stint with the Waterhouse and Bott stable.

But shortly after deciding to take up an opportunity with Joseph and Jones, he won at Royal Randwick with stable star Room Number and also the historic Bega Cup on the mare.

"That was just huge for me, my biggest wins in the space of a few weeks, on a mare I helped get back to her best when she had issues and lost form," he said.

No Room Number on Monday - "Ha, I'll say, but whenever you're lucky enough to get a full book with decent form, a win anywhere is sweet as."
