En Francais is a nice mare who has come back very well winning first-up at Murray Bridge before a dominant win here last time. She draws a nice gate, has upside and is the horse to beat. The danger could be OUR DESTRIER who comes off an eye-catching effort at Sandown when he made good ground form well back. The jump to the mile looks ideal and he gets in here nicely after the claim. BLAZERO gets in well and must be respected. ALSVIOR is knocking on the door.

Philonize is a smart filly who has a great record. She went to the paddock after a soft win over Midwest here, has speed to burn and is clearly the horse to beat. She's short, but deserves to be. ANOTHER AWARD races well fresh and hasn't raced since the G3 Summoned Stakes at Caulfield. She maps well, gets the claim and looks the danger. KIKI EXPRESS hasn't raced since beating Declared here in November. She draws a sticky gate but should run well. ZORRO'S DREAM is a winner here and was OK late behind Tycoon Humma at Sandown. WONDERWOMEN is going well and took late ground off Kentucky Casanova last time. She draws out but must be respected. LUMBER PUNK ran well behind Kentucky Casanova at Moonee Valley last time and gets an inside gate.

Wide open race. Sweet Marlene was well backed to run favourite on debut when 5th behind Declared. She has trialled nicely for her return but has to overcome a wide gate. PARTY PRINCESS resumes here and wears the blinkers for the first time. She draws wide but should be in the mix here. CARARADA has been 2nd at her past three starts but draws a tricky gate. HEMSEY LADY made ground on debut. FLYIN' FOR US has trialled up well for his debut as has ZEEBEDEE SPRINGS who debut for David Jolly. WHISKY SOUR had two jump-outs in Victoria and is on debut for Darryl Carrison. LINES OF GLORY comes out of a handy race and can improve here. PINCHBECK has ability.

RACE 4 - 2:02PM TAB Adelaide Cup Day - Monday March 13th Handicap (2000 METRES)
Malinong Club was impressive coming from the back to win this track and trip two runs back before a solid effort behind Farooq in the Premier's Plate. She draws a sticky gate but her pattern is to get back, the drop in class suits and she's the horse to beat, but is short enough. The rest are an even lot. WESTERN SUN is knocking on the door. He was placed in two SA runs before he was held-up at a crucial stage at Sandown two starts back. His latest at Ararat was good but should be in the mix even with the big weight. WHEELS was knocking on the door and ran super two starts back, and she worked home OK last time behind CLASSIC HOLLY who is chasing three wins on end. TASUMA comes off a Moe win over 2400m and maps well from a middle gate. DIXIE WHISTLER will roll forward and give a bold sight with the claim from a good gate.

Tanaawol was impressive first-up from a spell winning at Gawler beating Van Roy. He's been back to the trials since, he draws out but looks well placed again here. IMPOSING SUSPECT comes off a good return to racing beating SEAFARING at Gawler. He's fitter, the extra trip suits and he gets in well after the claim. SILENT DON looks an improver out in trip. He made ground behind Versetto last time and has been to the trials since. MORE SUGAR was good making ground behind Classic Holly. She drops in trip but looks right in a race like this. SWAMP VIXEN was good behind Spears last time out and maps to get a nice run here.

Whenthedeelingsdun has looked good winning his past couple at Strathalbyn, the latest beating Tavikat. She draws a sticky gate but can make her own luck and is sure to take some beating. She is short enough early in betting. Stablemate IRASCIBLE MISS could be the knockout. She has been good in two SA runs, the latest just beaten by Utah Joe at Strathalbyn. The synthetic hoof filler is a slight concern. STORM VOYAGER is bursting to win a race and draws a perfect barrier. LIANNE found winning form beating Possum Born at Gawler. She gets an inside gate and should be in the finish. LAKE TITICACA draws out but was spelled after winning at Gawler and she has trialled well for her return. SHEZ BETTY is another who draws awkwardly but has been racing well. L'IL PIPER gets in well after the claim and draws to get a good run.

Jean Valjean was a good winner on debut for the Clarken/O'Shea team and ran well behind Mamaragan at Moonee Valley last time when he closed late. He draws out but looks perfectly placed and can regain winning form. HONGBAO has been in great form winning 3 of his past 4, his only unplaced run at Flemington two starts back. He draws out but gets some weight relief and should be in the finish. SHIRSHOV is a former Godolphin galloper on debut for the Stokes stable. He hasn't raced since winning at Wyong in June but has jumped out smartly for this. SUPER THIEF has bene runner-up his past two, the latest behind Mutinous at Moonee Valley and gets in here with the claim. JAAZEB is going well and gets the claim. BUBBLE OVER resumes from a break and was around the mark. MISS EUROZONE is chasing three on end and maps well.

Grand Promenade is the class runner who won the 2021 Bart Cummings and was 4th in the Moonee Valley Cup in the Spring before running down the track in the Melbourne Cup. His first-up run when 4th behind Right You Are over 1800m was very good and he's the one to beat second-up. TEAM CAPTAIN is first-up here after running 2nd behind Gin Martini in the Sandown Cup in November. He's a nice horse who is going to be in the mix. THE MAP is a good local mare who will appreciate getting out to the 2600m and she is going to be strong late with the light weight. WA galloper STAFFORD'S LAD ran 2nd in the Perth Cup over 2400m two runs back and draws a perfect gate here. HIGHLAND JACK brings some solid Victorian form here. He draws a sticky gate but must be respected. CLEVER MAN is going well and makes his own luck. FAROOQ was good winning the Premier's Plate last time.

Lord Morton is a nice horse who trialled well before he justified a big push in betting to win first-up at Strathalbyn. He's still learning, has upside and this is a very winnable race. Stablemate TWO TIMES TWICE was OK first-up from a spell running 5th behind Qeyaady on the Parks, his second-up record is sound and he looks over the odds. BAMYAN BUDDHA is a dual winner here and has been around the mark. He warmed up late behind Endlessly last time and the extra trip, plus a claim, look ideal. Hard to draw a line through any of the others. MASTER AT ARMS was a Murray Bridge winner winner two starts back and made ground behind Endlessly last time. Victorian NICAJON has a good second-up record and draws a middle gate. RUN AND TELL will be on speed from a good gate, SIX FOOT ONE draws out but his win was on debut.
