Long day: "They all ran well without winning, so it's always good to finish with a bang."

On the horse: "She's been a little bit immature mentally and doing a few things wrong. It's not until this prep really that she started to get going. It was an impressive win at Scone last start, she broke the track record. She showed today that she is still wanting to overdo it a little bit, she was a little bit fresh today, on her toes. Hopefully she learnt a lot from today and can go out next start, settle a bit better and hopefully go from there. She's got a tonne of ability, hopefully she can keep going this way."

On her future: "We have Ipswich in a few weeks time, like the Gai Waterhouse and all those type of races. James will take his time with her and see how she pulls up and go from there."

On the day: "We got there in the end. I'm glad Nacim put the saddle on top."

Ticked the 1200m box: "She did, that was obviously her question mark. She's so enthusiastic in the run, you let her do her thing and she gets comfortable. She just tries so hard, has great tenacity and finds the line."

On leading: "I'm glad he (Golden Boom) handed up, I think we would've been tit-for-tat for a while."
