Barring some last-minute tweaking, the All-Star Mile field has been assembled.

There are nine horses in the $5 million race at Moonee Valley over 1600m on March 18 that were voted in by the public, five 'Wildcard' nominations voted on by Racing Victoria and the Moonee Valley Racing Club and one emergency replacement.

The Chris Waller-trained Fangirl was named an emergency replacement after connections of Jacquinot decided not to take up the option of starting after being voted in by the public.

After Alenquer was given the first Wildcard last week, RV and the MVRC have since handed Laws Of Indices, Pounding, Aegon and My Oberon a ticket into the race.

Final acceptances for the race will be at 10am next Tuesday with the barrier draw to be conducted that afternoon.

Should a horse voted into the All-Star Mile Top 10 be withdrawn between before final acceptances, it will be replaced by the highest-ranked provisional emergency at the time based on eligible earnings since February 1, 2022.

The current first emergency is dual Group 1 winner and last year's All-Star Mile fifth placegetter Cascadian, with Group 1-winning three-year-old filly Sheeza Belter, who finished 11th in the public vote, the second provisional emergency.

Should a wildcard selection be withdrawn prior to final acceptances, it will be replaced by another wildcard chosen at the discretion of RV and the MVRC.
