Dubenenko headlines Racing Rewards bonuses

The blow of Dubenenko’s luckless campaign was softened after landing connections a $19,200 Racing Reward SA bonus earlier in the month.

The Chris Bieg-trained filly made an impressive return to the races winning at Morphettville over 1100m in February before a luckless sixth in the Group 1 Blue Diamond, and dislodging Craig Williams in last weekend's VRC Sires' Produce. 

Dubenenko was one of three horses to share the Highest Earning Horse title in February.

Gant Young's Kushan Khanivale got things rolling early in the month winning on the Parks before fellow three-year-old Arugamama banked her connections the $19,200 winning at Morphettville over the 1100m.

Chris Bieg was the Highest Earning Trainer, Sir Prancealot was the Leading Sire with $20,850 in bonuses while Toorak Thoroughbred Breeding Trust was the Highest Earning Nominator for the month.

Zufasta remains the Highest Earning Horse for the 2022-23 season while Richard and Chantelle Jolly are the Highest Earning Trainers and Nominators.

Akeed Mofeed is the Leading Sire with his progeny having earnt $92,800 in prizemoney.
