Owners get free admission to Port Augusta

Port Augusta Racing Club are offering all South Australian owners free entry to meetings going forward.

Following on from the recently released Racing SA Digital Owners Card, any owner, with or without a runner, can be trackside at Port Augusta by simply showing their Digital Owners Card.

Racing return to Port Augusta on April 23 with two meeting scheduled each month leading into the City Of Port Augusta Cup meeting on Sunday July 9.

The Racing SA's Digital Owners Card came into full effect at the start of March and is available for download via the ID123 app on any smart phone.

Owners will be sent an email link to download the card via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to gain access to any South Australian tracks when they have a horse engaged.

The new Digital Owners Card has been met positive feedback from owners and clubs to help streamline the race day experience.

"The new digital owners card allows owners race day access at their fingertips every time they are trackside,'' Racing SA's General Manager Operations Nick Bawden said.

"We're really excited to make the entry to the track a smoother process for owners throughout the state and this is the first step in enhancing owners race day experience,'' he said.

Once downloaded your Digital Owners Card will provide access each and every time your horse is accepted to race.

Mounting yard enclosure access is at the discretion of individual clubs and owners are encouraged to contact the respective club for more information.
