"Great job by Gary. He jumped and put her in a good spot. We really wanted to be up on the speed and if we could get a bit of cover and peel out on the turn and that's how it panned out.

"Full raps to Gary Lo tonight. It is his night."

On Gary Lo: "He had a bit of a break due to a slight visa issue in South Australia but we got him registered over here to ride jump outs and trackwork and as soon as we could get him registered again he went back to SA and got going again.

"He's been the hardest working bloke you've seen over the last 12 months. He's been that hungry to get back in the saddle and to see him do this tonight has been outstanding.

"Props to the team there who have got this girl going. It's an Adelaide affair.

"We'll just keep her to her grades. She does a lot right. Puts herself up on the speed and for a horse like that in this grade, you can win races like this and pick off a few in 70 grade."

Winning Jockey: Gary Lo

"To get a winner here means a lot to me. Thanks to Phil for putting me on and she ran really good today.

On visa issues: "I've been unlucky but I'm glad to be back and riding winners."

On the horse: "She jumped a lot better today and she handled the track a lot better. Last time the track was very choppy but today in the second race the track was lovely and she handled it very good."

His future: "I'm going to start to try and ride in Melbourne in the next few weeks. I'll see how I go and have a crack at it."
