Winning Trainer: Gai Waterhouse
"It was scintillating. In Jordan, there is no jockey riding better in Australia. He's improved out of all knowledge and Goldman has grown a leg since he's come to us. He's so unfurnished, but there is so much to work with. It's so exciting."
Where does he sit with horses coming into the stable: "He's got raw talent and it will improve when he has a little break and comes back in the spring."
How do you manage him to spring: "We'll let the paddock worry about him and we'll worry about him when he gets back. The owners are the biggest thing that need managing."
Winning Jockey: Jordan Childs
On how he rates among the better stayers he's ridden: "He's definitely up there, he's a really nice horse and he's going through the grades nicely at the moment.
"It was another step up today and he just showed his class. He was able to get into a nice rhythm, we bowled along at our own tempo and when I asked him to quicken up from the 600 I knew he was going to take some chasing.
On how he travelled: "He just came back and relaxed nicely. He was just there in my hands and whatever I wanted him to do he was able to do it. He's a very kind ride and he'll definitely get further too, he took a bit of pulling up.
"He's got the really bold action on him, so good luck to the team and connections."
On pre-race advice from Regan Bayliss: "Regan (Bayliss) sent me a text this morning about the horse, he rode him his last two so I was very grateful for that, and he just said what he did today; 'he's a nice ride, bowls along and can sustain a good gallop right through the line'."
