Race 1 - 1:45PM ARROWFIELD - A TRADITION OF GREATNESS HANDICAP (1300 METRES)

8. Mannequin on top in a wide open race. She's trialled well without having a flashing light on twice in the past month or so. Imagine she will be allowed to balance up and hit the line from the gate and any support would be significant.

Dangers1. Arctic Legend has the benefit of race experience and his debut at Gosford recently was a handy one at 1100m. Yet to see anything worse than a good track but can only be improved and commands respect. 5. Exceed Perfection trialled impressively before starting an easing favourite on debut here two weeks ago. Did some work to lead but was gone on the turn and dropped out. Different set up here and could bounce back. 6. Last Straw has trialled twice in the lead up to her debut, she was stoked up a bit in the latest suggesting she'll appreciate this sort of trip. Each-way claims.

How to play it: Mannequin WIN ($3.40 TAB Fixed Odds) Odds & Evens: SPLIT.

Race 2 - 2:20PM TAB PLATE (1300 METRES)

1. Boyfriend might have been a bit rusty first-up for a year when settling last before rushing home beaten 1.5 lengths over 1100m. Fitter for that and extra trip suits. Showed a heap of promise last season and chance to deliver.

Dangers9. Golden Queen had to work a bit to find the lead first-up and she was only beaten by the bob of the head, in the same race as Boyfriend. Rolls across from the outside and if she can get a breather will take running down. 8. Shipshape went back from the outside gate at Gosford when resuming and worked to the line pretty well to grab third. Gate one changes things for him as he should be able to settle closer. Keep in mind. 12. Victory Salute is trialling well with two wins in March, the latest narrowly over 7. Seneschal. Include in the chances.

How to play it: Boyfriend WIN ($3.80 TAB Fixed Odds); Odds & Evens: ODDS.

Race 3 - 2:55PM RANVET HANDICAP (2200 METRES)

8. Miracle Spin is a lightly raced galloper stepping up to a staying trip for the first time. Strong at the finish first-up then favourite at Eagle Farm and was just outgunned late after hitting the lead. Looks a good each-way chance.

Dangers2. Iowa is another up and comer and you had to like his finish when resuming at Hawkesbury to win over 1800m. Primarily raced on the pace last time in so can settle closer and no surprise if he measures up this time in. 1. Temple Of Artemis probably holds the key to the race at his Australian debut. He's only had six starts and his win came over 2472m at Chester in May last year. Just battled in an open handicap at Leopardstown in September when a $9 favourite over 2579m. McDonald rides. Respect but could be unders. 4. Oceanic Flash is racing well in similar company with three placings on end. No match for Goldman last time but that form looks all right now. Include in the mix.

How to play it: Miracle Spin E/W ($6.00 TAB Fixed Odds); Odds & Evens: EVENS.

Race 4 - 3:30PM PRECISE AIR HANDICAP (1600 METRES)

2. Cut On A Dime is right back in class after tackling the Randwick Guineas and Phar Lap Stakes in two runs since a nice first-up maiden win. Obviously easier here and he should take holding out.

Dangers5. State Of America hasn't been disgraced at his past couple and wasn't able to get on the pace in his last run in the Midway at Rosehill but held his ground well. Should be a little more prominent here and has a good chance. 3. Union Gap is a Kiwi now with the Maher/Eustace team and he hasn't raced since January where he started $18 and ran third at Trentham. Trial in good company at Hawkesbury was okay and is one to keep an eye on. 4. Bon Frankie has a good record in easier grade, close up in a Highway at Rosehill then ran on into a placing at Canberra over the mile. Each-way chance in a winnable race if the favourite falters.

How to play it: Cut On A Dime WIN ($1.95 TAB Fixed Odds); Odds & Evens: SPLIT.

Race 5 - 4:05PM FURPHY HANDICAP (1600 METRES)

9. Whatsin is racing well at midweek level and is close to a win after a pair of seconds over 1400m here. She's strong late in her races and going to the mile might suit her now. If she holds form she's a genuine chance.

Dangers4. Wealthofknowledge is hard to ignore with wins at Newcastle and in a Midway at Rosehill in her past couple. Has to cope with a 5kg rise but no reason to think she won't be competitive. 2. Saucey Horsey seemed to have her chance in front here a month ago but was six weeks between runs and proved no match for Major Beel and Stroke Of Luck. Less depth in this one and fitter so could be an improver. 7. Charity Spirit comes through the same race as Whatsin where she was a close third. Just the one win in 20 starts is the concern but she's otherwise racing well and can show up.

How to play it: Whatsin E/W ($7.50 TAB Fixed Odds); Odds & Evens: SPLIT.

Race 6 - 4:40PM YARRAMAN PARK HANDICAP (1300 METRES)

7. Arbitration returned with a handy effort over 1100m which should stand her in good stead to improve up in trip. Second-up record is a little better and she'll have conditions to suit with some give in the track. Should be right in the finish.

Dangers2. Audette looked the winner first-up in a Provincial-Midway Championships heat at Gosford before being run down late. She's won five from eight and is unbeaten second-up so she has a pattern to improve and is a threat. 6. Ka Bling is racing well and showed he is versatile leading all the way at Kensington three weeks ago. Will put himself in the race and is a definite chance. 4. Redwood Shadow is yet to win first-up but placed three from four and put it together last time in with successive wins over a mile. Can run well and will lift on whatever he does.

How to play it: Arbitration WIN ($3.30 TAB Fixed Odds). Odds & Evens: SPLI

Race 7 - 5:15PM HOME AFFAIRS AT COOLMORE HANDICAP (1100 METRES)

11. Contemporary took a little while to hit his straps but wrapped his last prep with a dominant win at Kensington on soft ground. Gelded since then and trialled quietly a couple of times. Looks good speed in the race and he should be strong late.

Dangers15. Rita May didn't have the best of luck here when favourite in a wide market in a similar race two weeks ago so can be forgiven. Previous efforts were handy and suggested she's in good form. Must be included. 8. Miss Fox is an honest mare and she settled back and hit the line well into second over 1200m four weeks ago. Coming back that 100m is a plus, she handles all conditions and is always an each-way hope. 1. Rebel Shadow will relish the soft track and resumes after a handy win at Randwick back in June. Trialled twice in good company, draws well and it wouldn't surprise to see him run into the finish somewhere.

How to play it: Contemporary E/W ($7.50 TAB Fixed Odds). Odds & Evens: ODDS.

Race 8 - 5:50PM VINERY YEARLINGS HANDICAP (1400 METRES)

5. Floating showed a lot of promise in the spring and is a very interesting runner. He's effective in all ground and there was plenty to like about his latest trial. Probably gets back but 1400m suits fresh and he can be hard to hold out.

Dangers1. Travest usually performs well on his home track and he won a BM78 two starts ago before running on late into fourth two weeks back. Drops in class but after the claim stays on the same weight as last time and with a soft track he can be dangerous. 7. Speed Legend showed improvement second-up running into second behind Ka Bling at Kensington over this trio. Will be better for that run too and while drawn out the chute start is pretty fair and capable of getting into the finish. 2. Le Vizir isn't far off a win and will put himself in the race somewhere. Tried hard here last time and must be thrown in the multiples at least.

How to play it: Floating E/W ($4.40 TAB Fixed Odds). Odds & Evens: ODDS.
