SILVER ON RED (Race 6)

RACE 1 - 11:37AM Croser Handicap (Morphettville Parks Track) (1000 METRES)

Sghirripa showed plenty of fight to hold off Rushaway Lad and score here last time. She gets in well with the Campbell Rawiller claim, draws a nice gate, and will take running down on the inner track. WHO'S CLANG hasn't raced since running 4th behind Validated at Murray Bridge, he was a winner here on debut and should be in the mix. Stablemate COLD CASE hasn't started since 3rd behind Is It Me, gets blinkers for the first time and looks the danger. ZUFASTA ran well behind Declared at Murray Bridge last time but draws wide. The stable also has BRISTLER on debut, he won a recent Murray Bridge trial and draws the inside gate. STORYTELLER was a good Oakbank winner on debut and draws a nice gate. SHOOTING FOR STARS trialled like a star but hasn't fired in two SA runs.

SELECTIONS: 1 SGHIRRIPA, 4 Cold Case, 2 Who's Clang, 6 Storyteller
PLAY: Keen on SGHIRRIPA.

RACE 2 - 12:12PM TAB South Australian Sires' Produce Stakes (Morphettville Parks Track) (1400 METRES)

Nodachi comes off a dominant Bendigo win when she sat handy and won by 5.75 lengths. She draws gate two, John Allen rides and is the horse to beat. ANTICKS had backing to win at Cranbourne last time, she ran 4th behind Iphimedia on debut and that form line is solid for a race like this. TOKYO STAR hit the ground well in the same race. HARLEY'N'ROSE has been racing well and maps to get a nice run here. LONG LOST FRIEND draws an inside gate and won at Bendigo. DIAMONDS CHOICE has trialled OK.

SELECTIONS: 4 NODACHI, 5 Anticks, 8 Tokyo Star, 1 Harley'N'Rose
PLAY: Backing NODACHI.

RACE 3 - 12:47PM Fotobase Group Autumn Series Final (MPKS Track)(Qualified Horses) (1400 METRES)

Platinum Wolf is a promising horse who has won three of five and he was too good for TAPINFORPAR, who maps to get a gun run from the inside, at Murray Bridge last time. The wide draw is a slight concern, but he has upside and should take some beating, the $8 he opened was quickly snapped up. EAST INDIAMAN has never missed in six tries here, maps to be on speed and should take some running down. He's the danger. STARTS WITH HELLO was a winner here three starts back and solid behind Falaise last time. TEXAN WINDSTORM draws a nice barrier.

SELECTIONS: 4 PLATINUM WOLF, 2 East Indiaman, 9 Tapinforpar, 7 Starts With Hello
PLAY: Something each-way on EAST INDIAMAN at the price.

RACE 4 - 1:22PM SAROA Remembers Chris Kay Handicap (1200 METRES)

Interesting race. On raw ability Manhatten Times looks over the odds. He finished 2nd and 3rd behind Diamonds twice at Listed level at the back end of last year and should strip a lot fitter for his Irwin run when beaten 7.5 lengths behind Kallos. SYNCLINE has been in the money at 18 of 24 starts in the NT and debut for the Stokes stable. He won the Palmerstone Sprint last July and should give this a shake fresh. RUSHAWAY LAD made good ground behind Sghirripa last time out and will be hitting the line hard. EXTRA MILE draws the inside and must be respected here.

SELECTIONS: 2 MANHATTEN TIMES, 1 Syncline, 8 Rushaway Lad, 4 Extra Mile
PLAY: Backing MANHATTEN TIMES each-way.

RACE 5 - 1:57PM David 'DT' Thomas Memorial Provincial Super Series Final (Qualified Horses) (1800 METRES)

Captain Britain drops 8.5kg after a solid effort when 4th behind WOLFBRUN at Murray bRidge last time. He draws a middle gate and looks well placed in a race like this on his previous Victorian form. PRINCE JOFRA put together two consecutive wins before running 6th behind Montepulciano here last time. He draws out but is a horse with upside. WOLFBURN was a good winner over Fox Gem at Murray Bridge last time and should be thereabouts. UNDERSTATEMENT has been around the mark and draws to get a gun run from gate four. PORT ROYAL was a Streaky Bay Cup winner two starts back and then looked to have his chance when 2nd behind Havaduel at Oakbank. DOMINUS has been racing well but draws a sticky gate. MISS KERMIE is another who draws wide but has been racing well and was runner-up behind Prince Jofra at Balaklava two starts back.

SELECTIONS: 5 CAPTAIN BRITAIN, 2 Prince Jofra, 3 Wolfburn, 13 Understatement
PLAY: Keen on CAPTAIN BRITAIN here.

RACE 6 - 2:32PM SkyCity SA Sprint Series Final (Qualified Horses) (1100 METRES)

Silver On Red is a nice horse who worked through the line OK first-up from a short break when 7th behind STAR HILLS, who has a good record here. He looks well over the odds. QUEMAN finished 3rd in the same race and can turn that around from a good gate. KEEP READING stuck on well running 5th in the same race. HONGBAO was very good beating JIMMY'S EDGE at Murray Bridge carrying a big weight and drops 9.5 kg here. Stablemate MR HAVE A CHAT draws an awkward barrier and will be on speed here. SHIRSHOV was too good for River Ribble last time and must be respected form the wide barrier. QEYAADY has raced since winning at Oakbank in April and has trialled OK. PRAIRIE FIRE is chasing three wins on end and must be repsected.

SELECTIONS: 9 SILVER ON RED, 4 Queman, 8 Qeyaady, 6 Hongbao
PLAY: Backing SILVER ON RED each-way.

RACE 7 - 3:12PM Thomas Farms South Australian Derby (2500 METRES)

Promises Kept has won his past couple before he was purchased by new owner to join the all-conquering Maher/Eustace stable. Looks an exciting staying prospect and should take some beating from the perfect barrier. LOCO looked the winner before he was grabbed late by RED SUN SENSATION in the Group 3 Chairman's Stakes last time. SUIZURO was game in the same race and will roll forward from the wide gate. His previous he beat home HIGH APPRACH in the ATC Derby. ABERFELDIE BOY is another promising stayer who will thrive out in trip, DUNKEL has been set for this race for a long time. SHE'S FIT was super in the Oaks when narrowly beaten by Affair A Suivre and must be respected, the 2500m won't be an issue.

SELECTIONS: 9 PROMISES KEPT, 7 Loco, 5 Red Sun Sensation, 3 Dunkel
PLAY: Backing PROMISES KEPT and saving on RED SUN SENSATION each-way at odds.

RACE 8 - 3:52PM Adelaide Galvanising Industries Adelaide Guineas (1600 METRES)

Victorian Star Vega is lightly raced and scored a soft Benalla maiden win before a solid effort running 2nd at Sandown behind Skinny Dip. He draws out but looks a danger. PEARL ADIOS was good running 4th in the Port Adelaide Guineas behind Affair A Suivre here and maps to get a nice run, stablemate PARTY PRINCESS was game running 2nd behind As Time Goes By in the Clare Lindop before another good run when 6th to Affair A Suivre in the Oaks last time TENACE is an eight-start maiden but was well backed at Seymour last time. WINE BARON is a progressive type, FLORAL OASIS was good behind Lounge Bar Rubi last start.

SELECTIONS: 3 STAR VEGA, 2 Pearl Adios, 10 Party Princess, 9 Tenace
PLAY: Backing STAR VEGA.

 RACE 9 - 4:30PM Grand Syndicates Handicap (1050 METRES)

Rotokura was a Pakenham maiden winner before coming off the speed to score an easy win at Kyneton last time. He draws a nice gate, and this looks a winnable race. DEMON BLOOD made good ground at Ballarat two starts back and then got back and failed to run on behind Plus Fours at Pakenham last time. He gets the blinkers from the wide barrier. LADY SIMONE was good running 3rd behind Calla Dream here in November before running down the track and her fresh record is OK. THE GOV loomed like a winner before peaking on her run when 5th behind Sghirripa last time. HALLOWED GROUND has trialled well and MY RUBY is worth some thought in a race like this.

SELECTIONS: 5 ROTOKURA, 4 Demon Blood, 6 Lady Simone, 8 The Gov
PLAY: Something on ROTOKURA and DEMON BLOOD each-way in a very open race.
