RACE 1 - 12:45PM Balaklava Cup 13th September Maiden Plate (1050 METRES)

Good maiden. SOLEMN PROMISE resumes and was well backed when narrowly beaten by Gulinga Spirit at Morphettville on debut before running $1.65 fav at KI when 3rd behind Padstow Polly. She jumped out OK behind Kiki Express at Morphettville last week. ASTROMANCER ran 4th behind Declared at Morphettville on debut and was OK beaten 2.1 behind Second To Nun there before a break, she has the two trials under her belt. MISLUDI is a half-sister to Shamino on debut for the Stokes stable and won a recent trial here. WHO'S AFRAID hasn't finished further back then 4th in all four runs the latest when 2nd behind King Moya at Murray Bridge. LI'LMISSPRANCESLOT was good at Gawler on debut behind Foxy Femme and strips fitter for one run back behind King Moya at Murray Bridge. ROSE RING has shown ability and been in the market at two of three starts back in February. LITTLE BIT CHAI was placed at Mt Gambier on debut and backed that up with a good 3rd behind Runaway Belle at Murray Bridge.

RACE 2 - 1:20PM Agfert Maiden Plate (1600 METRES)

FORTIS IN ARMIS is bursting to win a race and gets his chance here on the quick back up from running 2nd behind Base Of Fire at Strathalbyn on the weekend. He draws a gate and is the horse to beat. GO DEREK was well beaten behind Fantastic Host here on debut and the Jolly stable go straight for the blinkers. POMODORO finished 4th on the same race and was runner-up here behind Torratorio in August. DELAYED ACTION was another well beaten in the Fantastic Host race last time but placed here at his previous behind A Touch Frosty and can improve.

RACE 3 - 1:55PM BTR Excavations Benchmark 62 Handicap (1600 METRES)

POCKET RAIDER has won two of her past three, the latest at Bordertown beating Regal Rocket. She was placed at her only run here four starts back and solid each-way appeal again. CLUB PUNTER has been mixing form but in better grade, running 12th in the Nitschke Stakes two runs back before running 5th behind BIGNOTA who regained winning form beating Abit Rattley last time out and gets in here nicely at the weights but she's never won beyond 1400m. SILENT DON was a Clare winner four starts back and was backed to run fav in the Bignota race last time. He gets an inside gate. LI'L HANK has been racing well winning at Strathalbyn in March. SWORD OF WAR has trialled well and was OK first-up in SA at Port Lincoln in April.

RACE 4 - 2:30PM TQCSI Rating 0 - 58 Handicap (1050 METRES)

SAVILLE was a winner here on Soft ground last July before going to town and beating So You Can. His three runs back up in class has been solid and that looks the perfect set up for this race with 3kg claim for Rochelle Milnes. IMPERIAL SEAL broke his maiden status beating Thebigsosso at Gawler last week, his previous form was good, draws a gate and would be right in the mix if he gains a start. JIMMY'S EDGE has been racing well and will appreciate the drop in class after chasing home Queman last time at Morphettville. TUPOLEU has a handy record and good fresh record to match. He had form around the like of Pentire's Spirit and Wonderwomen before a break. BIG SHAQ resumes on the back of a Murray Bridge trial win. He beat Tan Tat Beau to win his maiden at Gawler back in September and must be respected for the in form Macdonald/Gluyas/Holder combo.

RACE 5 - 3:05PM Haulmark Benchmark 60 Handicap (2200 METRES)

COMFORT GIRL was placed her only start this track and trip and was doing her best work late at Bordertown in the race won by TOYETIC, who has been good in two runs back from his short stint as a jumper. He was 4th at Oakbank before winning at Bordertown. MASTER OF ZERPRISE has been mixing his form winning at Murray Bridge beating Santelmo Fuego, who has won in town since, before an OK run behind Whiskey 'N' Women last week. FLIGHT DECK was backed to run favourite when 8th behind Campobasso at Gawler last week. COVERED CALL jumped equal fav in the same race and was beaten 4.6 lengths in 9th, his Strathalbyn win on speed in March would have him in the mix here. SMILING ASSASSIN has plenty of weight even after the claim and will like getting back out further in trip.

RACE 6 - 3:40PM BMD Class Two Handicap (1200 METRES)

UPGRADE ME is a watch first-up in SA for Ashton Downing. He was down to make his local debut at Morphettville on Saturday but has been saved for this. He was an Ipswich winner in March and wasn't beaten far at Eagle Farm last start. SIXFOOTONE was runner-up here behind Pompeii Ruler before running 6th behind Jacks On Ice at Morphettville on Saturday. He's on the quick back up and looks well placed. LAKEHURST was good running 2nd behind Prairie Fire at Morphettville four runs back and comes off a good Gawler win beating Venusian. He draws a good gate and looks a danger. SHOOTING FOR STARS trialled like a nice horse before she carved up late at her SA debut at Oakbank. Her two runs since have been fair at best but she has trialled well again since. ELSA'S PRIDE won her first two starts and was good when 3rd behind Hongbao last time at Murray Bridge. She'll give them something to chase from the inside gate. LANCELOTTO was runner-up behind Jacks On Ice at Gawler before running 5th behind Delcared at Murray Bridge when he led them up. HAYZEE FANTAYZEE could be ready to improve third-up here. BROADWAY LANE is another first-up in SA and placed at his past couple at Stawell and Avoca.

RACE 7 - 4:10PM John Pearce Benchmark 60 Handicap (1300 METRES)

ANOTHER PONZI trialled up well before resuming here and winning smartly by 3 lengths beating Imperial Seal who has won since. He draws a nice gate and looks the one to beat. RUN AND TELL comes off a good win here beating Obelos, he drops in trip and goes up in weight but must be respected, JIVE BABY has a handy record here and made good ground in the same race last time. RED ROOF has won three of his past four, the latest at Bordertown beating Thanasi at nice odds. He gets a good gate and should be right in the mix here. EXOPIPI strips fitter for one run back when beaten 5.3 lengths behind Celsius Star at Morphettville. LUCKY BLUE wasn't gar away when 4th behind Pompeii Empire at big odds last time. HATEECH was a winner here three starts back.
