Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Hawkesbury, Pakenham, Ipswich, Warrnambool, Pinjarra Scarpside and Albury.

HAWKESBURY: RACE 7 @ 4:55 PM

TOMISLAVA (5) was on speed and spiked her figures winning this grade at Gosford. Draws low with Parr booked and she'd only have to repeat that effort to take beating. IMPACT STAR (3) resumes and is sharp fresh. Has a handy gate and looks an each-way hope. NOTIFIES (12) has been a big market firmer. Was outgraded the latest but the form prior would have him right in it. KNICKPOINT (11) was tracking well before the latest and also has claims.
SELECTIONS: Backing Tomislava.

PAKENHAM: RACE 3 @ 6:45 PM

PRANCING SPIRIT (2) went around at a very skinny quote at Stony Creek but bolted in. Looks to have loads of ability and a repeat of that effort will see him go close here. DESIAH (7)is coming off a break. Was a Geelong maiden winner first-up last campaign before graduating to better company. Looks nicely placed here and won't be too far away. HOLLY LOLLY (8) ran a pleasing race first-up off a break at Flemington. Will strip fitter for the run and looks one of the threats. THE EXCHANGE (3) got to the line nicely when resuming. Is going to strip fitter this time around and has to be given consideration.
SELECTIONS: Back Prancing Spirit to win.

IPSWICH: RACE 2 @ 1:33 PM

CORDYCEPS MIRACLE (3) has started favourite at his first two Queensland starts since winning a trial at the start of January for his new trainers. He has run on strongly over unsuitable shorter trips in both of those most recent efforts and has been crying out for a longer journey. He gets his chance today to show his true worth over the mile and should go close to winning. Follow your money. ART HEIST (2) could not make up the necessary ground off a slow tempo on the Gold Coast poly last time out, his form prior is a better guide to how he has been racing and he deserves another chance. Each-way. VAIN FOX (1) has found some good recent form on the poly track at the Gold Coast and has won his only race on a wet surface. Now that his confidence is back he is worth following up. Include. EASIER SAID (5) finished runner-up at Doomben two starts back and then did not get all favours at the Sunshine Coast last time out when fourth. She won't be far away today from her handy draw.
SELECTIONS: Cordyceps Miracle to win.

WARRNAMBOOL: RACE 6 @ 4:00 PM

OAMANIKKA (1) has gone close twice since the 58 win. There was only 1L in it at Bendigo this grade his latest and it was a tough effort. Has the handy 2kg claim and the nod. MILLENNIAL GIRL (8) has been around the mark without winning. She didn't miss by far here last time and has a key jockey switch to Yendall. A danger. BRAZEN BRANDO (2) runs along and has just missed the last two in 58s. Will give a sight. WISH I MIGHT (7) resumes with a key gear switch and a handy 2kg claim. Is certainly good enough and keep safe.
SELECTIONS: With Oamanikka.

PINJARRA SCARPSIDE: RACE 3 @ 2:22 PM

FRANTIC WAR (1) has finished runner-up in three of his four starts this term and was only beaten a head most recently here after making all the pace. The wide draw for this distance is an advantage and he certainly deserves a winning turn. KINGS SICARIO (2) finished runner up in his first start as a gelding before being sent for a spell that would have done him the world of good. He has been tuned up for this by having a recent trial and can make his presence felt in this. ANTIQUE MISS (10) won her most recent of three trials with William Pike in the saddle and he has stuck with her for her debut today. The blinkers go on and a big run can be expected. AMELIA'S TRUST (9) showed promise during her first prep before being sent for a spell over the summer months to mature. She won a recent trial in good style and is sure to have plenty of market support fresh up.
SELECTIONS: Frantic War to win.

ALBURY: RACE 3 @ 3:25 PM

SMOKIN' COD (7) has been in the money in her two runs back, closing off strongly into the placings last start at Wagga. Gets in lighter for the slightly tougher assignment and should be nearing a peak third run in. Leading hope on best efforts. HELLO JACK (1) has plenty of gate speed and will once again waste not time taking up his usual position out in front. Was only beaten a long neck last start at Canberra and now strips rock-hard fit. Will be giving himself every chance. PROPHET'S DAUGHTER (2) has been ticking nicely this preparation. Every chance again if she can hold her form. Can also make a case for OVERRUN (5).
SELECTIONS: Smokin' Cod gets the nod.
