Australian thoroughbred Tab meeting is today held at Muswellbrook, Sapphire Coast, Cranbourne, Benalla, Rockhampton, Mount Gambier, Albany and Darwin.

MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 2 @ 2:00 PM

FLORINO (2) is a three-year-old gelding by Mikki Isle on debut for very strong connections. Trained by P Messara and ridden by A Bullock, he's trialled well and finds a very winnable maiden to tackle. Expect plenty of support. LEICA STORM (4) resumed with a sound run at Scone when fourth, beaten 6 lengths. He was out-sped there so the rise in trip to 1280m suits nicely and he'll strip fitter. JODY GIRL (7) is knocking on the door having run third in her past three starts, beaten under a length at Beaumont last time out. Takes catching from a handy draw. CHARGE EXTRA (10) is racing well and in the each-way mix again, as is BIT OF A STEP (8).
SELECTIONS: Florino to make a winning debut.

MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 3 @ 2:35 PM

THORPE (6) will take a power of beating. A winner at his only start on debut at Beaudesert, he's had nearly a year off the scene but has trialled well at Rosehill behind a group level horse. This field is well exposed and if he's anywhere near ready he should be winning. RIVER ROCKET (1) won well at Orange two back before a close up placing last start. He's had 50 starts so don't expect improvement but he's racing well and in the mix. DEVIL'S INN (4) has had two runs back from a spell and been beaten less than 1.5 lengths in each. Now third up, he'll cross and take running down. EXONUMIA (3) bounced back last start and got the job done by 0.9 lengths over 1300m at Scone. He does still have some upside and should be respected.
SELECTIONS: Thorpe should be winning.

SAPPHIRE COAST: RACE 1 @ 1:04 PM

VINOLASS (2) is a promising galloper who kept her unbeaten record intact last start when resuming at Canberra, making it 2/2. Stays over the winning journey and is drawn to advantage. Only needs to hold her form to continue her hot start but looks open to further improvement. Will take plenty of beating. SKAIFEE (5) didn't give his rivals a sniff here at the latest when leading pillar to post. Shoulders a handy record on his home track and is drawn ideally. Can threaten. RONNY ROCK ART (4) put in a game chase to the line last start at Goulburn, only to fall shy just under a length of the winner. Strips fitter with two runs under his belt. Can find minor money again. ACCRUE (3) best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Backing Vinolass to win again.

CRANBOURNE: RACE 7 @ 9:15 PM

PRETTY TAVI (9) looks set to peak third up after a game fourth at Moonee Valley in similar grade on March 5. Goes well this trip and drawn to stalk the speed. Looks hard to hold out. BIG WATCH (5) is a lightly raced colt who broke his maiden when a soft winner over 1200m at Kilmore last time out. Jumps in grade and has the upside to be in the mix again. BREAKING GROUND (6) returns from a spell of four-and-a-half months and gelded over the break. Far from disgraced when fourth over 1400m at Sandown (L) on November 16. Two jump outs should see him forward enough to run a race. ABADDON (3) is at his peak now fourth up. Found the line late with the 60kg when third over 1200m at Mornington on March 21. Backs up quickly and looks to have solid each way prospects.
SELECTIONS: Pretty Tavi to win.

BENALLA: RACE 8 @ 5:20 PM

REDNECK PRINCESS (12) missed a nose at Swan Hill improving again. Holding the form and is a quinella hope again. PENCILLED OUT (4) led and won the Maiden easily and then resumed in a 58 narrowly beaten. The barrier is against but fitter she's in the mix. VERY SHAMUS (8) can add meat to the multiples. SOLSTICE (2) has won previously first-up and resumes here after a break of 11 months. Has claims.
SELECTIONS: Backing Redneck Princess.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 7 @ 4:07 PM

BOLD ENFORCER (1) resumes from a spell having finished fifth last start over 1800m. Rates highly in a fresh-up state and will be well supported to take this race out. TOY BLAZE (5) is a course and distance winner who can add to that record following a game last start fourth. Rates as a solid each-way chance. TOP SPY (9) is racing well this prep with the latest effort resulting in a strong third at this track over 1200m. Looks close to a winning run and has strong claims in this line-up. DIAMOND MONEY (2) finished third last start over 1000m when well supported. Having his third run back from a spell and has won in that state previously. Should prove hard to beat.
SELECTIONS: Bold Enforcer to win.

MT GAMBIER: RACE 5 @ 3:10 PM

ONE MORE JACK (1) has shown plenty at Listed level and has threatened his last two at 86 level. Draws well with a handy claim and is suited back 200m off a brief freshen. ROHLON DRUNK (2) won the 64 here comfortably as favourite and then put in a plain one in a 68 well-supported again. Gets plenty of weight relief and a bounce is on the cards. CHILL WITH TEEJAY (5) resumed as favourite in that contest beaten a whisker. She has more to give and is also a winning chance. ORNAMENTAL LADY (3) narrow winner by a long neck last time out at this track. Drops in weight this start. Looks a leading hope again.
SELECTIONS: Backing One More Jack.

ALBANY: RACE 4 @ 4:00 PM

SNEAKY FOX (1) is back from facing tougher fields and the last time that he was in this grade he was a winner on this track. He only has to cope with the sharp rise in weight to be the one to beat today. VRUM (2) won easily here two starts back before overdoing it during the running last time out at Mt. Barker and finishing last. He will be a lot sharper on the seven day backup and will also enjoy returning to his favourite deck. He shouldn't be dropped just yet. GIFTED WARRIOR (4) doesn't help himself by starting slowly and then getting too far back. He was a handy trial winner before his fresh up failure and in this type of field, he should be included in all combinations. COLD AS COLD (5) has been campaigning at Esperance and Kalgoorlie this term and will enjoy being back to a track where he has won four times. He has also won twice over this trip and cannot be discounted in this line-up. Watch closely.
SELECTIONS: Sneaky Fox to win.

ALBANY: RACE 7 @ 5:30 PM

STAR IN TIME (3) has really turned a corner this year, winning two of her last three starts. She fought on bravely here for third on an unsuitable wet track last time out and back on a firmer surface she should return to her winning ways. POWERFUL FORCE (7) was run down late last start and after the race, the jockey reported that his saddle had slipped. He is back in distance but is still likely to make a play for the front early on and if he can nab a soft sectional during the running then he should be very hard to peg back. BOBSLED (2) finally broke through for a long awaited win last time out on this track. It was only his third run for his new trainer and now that the penny has dropped he may go on with it. Each-way. JAFETICA (5) has had two trials to help prepare for her return, winning the most recent. She usually takes a run before showing her best but should be hitting the line hard and in this type of field she could run into the money. Include in all combinations.
SELECTIONS: Star In Time to win.

DARWIN: RACE 3 @ 4:19 PM

DOC O'CONNOR (1) made a winning local debut fresh up and did it very easily. He has been given time to get over that effort and even the 4kg weight rise shouldn't be able to stop him from winning again. REAL REASON (5) is usually thereabouts and though he didn't get close last time out he did get a fair way back on a slow tempo. If he can stay in touch early then he is capable of running into a first-four spot. SOUL SPIRIT (2) lost form in Queensland and has since shifted stables. She is making her local debut and if she can rediscover some of her earlier good form she shouldn't be hard to place in this area. Let the markets guide you today. AIR COMMAND (4) stuck to his guns fresh up to finish third and he has not missed a cheque in two second up runs. He has the perfect inside draw and should be right in the finish.
SELECTIONS: Doc O'Connor to win.
