The speedy ZAKERIZ (8) gets in well at the weights with the claim and may earn some minor money.

PMBARRETTA (6) is the testing material. He was most impressive winning first up at Pakenham last time in before taking on two stronger races. He's won a trial at Benalla leading in and will be hard to hold out late despite the draw. HESKET (14) is a strong danger. Both runs back this time in have been good and Damian Lane takes the ride from a good gate. 1400m is a small query. REBEL'S CHOICE (12) ran seventh but was only beaten 2 lengths at Sandown-Hillside last start. She won third up last time in and will be strong late. CARLISLE (4) finished midfield at Flemington first up in a stronger race. Will come on from that and looks a key chance here.
