DIAMOND DRUMMER (1) has found the line nicely in his last three but has just been unlucky to run into one a tad smarter. Profiles perfectly for this and should get a nice run just behind a genuine tempo. Should be prove mighty hard to hold out. MISS SHALAA (6) has gone close to scoring in her two return efforts, finishing second in both. Drawn to race prominently with T Clark in the saddle. ZIMTOPIA (8) found herself with too much to do in the straight on debut when cornering a long way off them. Will take benefit from the race experience and is expected to have improved. ISLA (5) could be the one they need to reel in. Best of the rest.

FRENCHMANS BAY (3) is unlucky to still be a maiden with three consecutive runner-up finishes to start the career but strikes a very winnable contest here. Drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley and rates the testing material against this lot. LAUREUS (5) was okay on debut then showed steady improvement when second at Casterton last time out. Looms as the main danger. LOVE SCHOOL (7) has only missed the top-five once in seven career starts including placing over this course and distance. Top-three commodity. SHUFFLE DANCER (12) hails from the Moody barn and any market confidence must be noted. BELLUNA (2) has placed three of seven overall and can earn some minor money.

CAIRNS: RACE 4 @ 3:27 PM
SMART IMAGE (3) won well here last start and will be a short priced favourite to score again. Hard to roll and should be winning for fun. NEBARAZ (7) seeks a hat-trick of wins following a fresh-up win at this track, has strong each-way claims. LILY OFTHE GLEN (4) resumes from a spell and has won in that state previously, include in combinations.

VIVALISCIOUS (6) returned to form beaten a nose here 9-days ago. Races handy and Douglas sticking is a plus. She can go one better. EDITH'S JOY (3) was lipped out at Warren spiking her figures. Has an awkward gate and she's a player with a repeat of that effort. MAGIC PROPHET (4) was much better at Grafton and will improve again. Is in well with the small claim and should have a cosy run. OHANA JOY (5) missed a nose first-up at Bathurst and is back on track. Finally draws a low barrier and keep onside.
