Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Yarra Valley, Albury and Rockhampton.

YARRA VALLEY: RACE 1 @ 1:30 PM

IT'S MY TURN (7) has placed 4/5 and missed here a lip second-up working home hard. Fitter and can be winning with average luck. WANGO AWARD (11) resumes and the wet track figures are strong. Just missed on debut and the one after (in town) then was spelled off a go at Listed grade. She also has a sticky gate but is feared. I'M OVER DANCING (6) needed the first-up outing. She has more to give and can control the race from the low barrier. REFRESHING (8) resumes. Was well supported on debut and didn't get into it after a slow start. In good hands and a bold run won't surprise. FINANCE BOOM (2) debuts from the rail and profiles well. Keep safe as well.
SELECTIONS: It's My Turn with the race fitness.

ALBURY: RACE 3 @ 2:25 PM

SPITFIRE (2) looks placed to advantage today to break his maiden status at start 14. Fourth up and will find this more to his liking after running at the provincials at his last three starts back. Should be able to control the tempo and prove too good for these. WHITE GLOVE TEST (10) ran a much better race second up when second at Gundagai over 1400m on January 1. On the quick back up and inside gate helps. MISS ATHENA (8) drifted back from the wide gate and let down well when second over 1400m at Wagga on December 23. Looks ready for the 1600m now. ANDROS (4) started at big odds at debut when an encouraging fifth over 1400m at Wagga on December 23. Much fitter now and looking for the 1600m and further.
SELECTIONS: Spitfire to win.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 5 @ 4:45 PM

A good race. AGE OF INNOCENCE (4) led and belted a CL6 field at Mackay by 3L (heavily-bet) and then the money came again here and she was beaten a whisker. Has 3kg weight relief at this level with a 2kg claim atop. Draws to control the race and appeals. MOCIAL CHIEF (1) made the hat-trick here this grade holding the form. Has to lug a clear top weight but will have plenty of admirers. STARSONIC (7) led and won the CL6 and will be better for it. Has a low weight and is in the mix. BOMBASAY (2) has need the two runs back. This trip suits better and he's in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Backing Age Of Innocence.
