MORNINGTON: RACE 2 @ 1:40 PM
OUR GODDESS (8) ran second in all three starts last campaign to kick off her career. She looks well placed from a forward position in the run to go one better here resuming. She's easy to like. CONFETTI OF ROSES (4) creates interest on debut for an in form yard and has been well supported in early markets. Despite an awkward draw she can figure in the finish. GOLD MANUKA (5) hasn't raced for almost a year but her form prior suggests she can run well here if she's wound up. Keep safe. ROYAL LANE (9) has raced well in two starts this time in and she'll be in it for a long way from a prominent position in running. LISTEN (7) finished close up at her five starts prior to a break and can add value to the multiples. SELECTIONS: #8 Our Goddess finds the right race resuming.

LIM'S SYNERGY (4) caught the eye on debut when finished hard to run second, beaten a head over 1100m at Nowra on January 8. Fitter now and looks very well placed after a few key scratchings. The one to beat. CHOIX DE LA MER (8) was only fair first up at Gosford but is open to good improvement second up and rates well on best form. FIANCETTO (11) has displayed decent ability at the trials and has to be kept safe on debut. SELECTIONS: #4 Lim's Synergy to win.
GREAT WESTERN: RACE 1 @ 1:15 PM
FLYING EMMY (6) is in the top barn and improved sharply placing at Cranbourne. Lifts to the mile with extra fitness and can take it out. PERFICERE (2) resumed in good order but has been plain the two since. Yendall goes on for the 4kg apprentice and that's a lead. Improvement is anticipated. CESAR BESSAN (1) found one much too good on the same day but covered the others and is on the improve. TE KANAWA (8) next best. SELECTIONS: Backing #6 Flying Emmy to win.
MT GAMBIER: RACE 6 @ 4:35 PM
CLEVER MAN (1) is working his way back to winning form and has not missed a cheque in four starts on this track, including three wins. He has also won five times at the trip and looks to have this race at his mercy. On top. WILD WILLY (2) was back in winning form at Penola last time out and should have no problem with the extra distance today. Jacob Opperman gets on well with him and he is the main danger to the top selection. EAGLES FOREVER (5) just came to the end of his run last start and will strip much fitter for that effort which was his first over a middle distance this prep. He drops seven kilos from that last run and won't be far away. BOSSY BRITCHES (3) quickly found winning form when up in journey last time out on this track, further enhancing her strong track record. She has the pole position and is ready to be tested in this higher grade. Go again. SELECTIONS: #1 Clever Man to win.
GRAFTON: RACE 6 @ 5:40 PM
DURNSTEIN (8) ran second on resumption at Eagle Farm over 1000m and looks well placed here. Failed his only go at this trip but it was in much stronger company and this looks a great race for him. SENSATIONAL REWARD (2) is in great form and deserves a crack at this tougher contest. No knocks. CABSAV (5) stuck on well last start to finish second over 1100m at Ipswich after showing good early speed. Will take plenty of catching. SELECTIONS: #8 Durnstein to win.
MT BARKER: RACE 8 @ 5:30 PM
SPEEDY PYE (5) probably cost herself the win by beginning awkwardly last start when favourite at Albany, as it was she picked up nicely and only missed by half a length. She is still on the up and looks to be the one to beat in this. RIBBING (2) capped off some good recent form with a well deserved maiden win last start. The blinkers come off and now that the penny has dropped he can make it two wins on the bounce. ROCAPOZZENE (9) won at only her second start last time out on this course and has more upside than most here. This field is not a massive rise in class and she can get the job done again. DOES HE KNOW (1) is resuming from a spell that would have done him the world of good. He has the blinkers on for the first time and will be primed for a big effort. SELECTIONS: #5 Speedy Pye to win.
