Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Sandown-Hillside, Belmont Park, Warwick Farm, Beaudesert, Murray Bridge, Wagga, Hanging Rock and Darwin.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE: RACE 7 @ 5:00 PM

The Ive Manfred Stakes sees the return of G1 Golden Rose Stakes winner JACQUINOT (1). The talented three-year-old colt struggled to make an impact in the G1 Coolmore Stud stakes, finishing midfield before heading for a well-earned spell. Unbeaten first-up and reunites with Damien Lane. Clearly the one they all need to beat. BANK MAUR (3) returns after enjoying a rather successful and promising second career preparation. Closed out last campaign with a strong finish in the Caulfield Guineas, finishing 1.5L away from Golden Mile in eighth. Fresh winner who is drawn favourably. Can make his presence felt. CLIMBING STAR (10) is another one who returns after a bright debut campaign. Was a winner on debut last time in and gets in well at the weights. One of the chances. RUTHLESS DAME (9) is another promising type that returns and looks best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Jacquinot very hard to beat.

BELMONT PARK: RACE 4 @ 3:05 PM

MAGNALEE (6) threatened here and at Ascot and then delivered this grade at Scarpside from the front. Draws to advantage and Harvey goes on. She's well-placed to repeat. MEN'S CLUB (1) resumed here in this grade with a solid effort. He has plenty up the sleeve and Pike goes on for Harvey. Uses the rail and will go close. PRINCE AMONGST MEN (4) resumes and also races handy. The former Queenslander is right up to this and the betting should indicate if he's on-song. APACHE BLUE (9) was narrowly beaten here on resumption running a strong figure but was unable to launch a bid at Scarpside after. Has a low gate and fitter may be worth another chance.
SELECTIONS: Backing Magnalee to win.

WARWICK FARM: RACE 4 @ 2:50 PM

JUNQUEIRA (10) made up for an unlucky fresh up run here by winning easily last time out at the Gold Coast in what was probably a stronger field. She draws close to the fence and should stalk the pace throughout. Hard to beat again. ESPIRITO (6) is a genuine performer that was surprisingly beaten as a prohibitive favourite at Nowra last start. He is seldom far away and should be thereabouts. Include in all multiples. THE BIG EASY (1) got back after a slow start when fresh up at Canterbury and then didn't get a clear run for most of the home straight, so to finish third was a very good effort. He has pole position today and would only have to jump with them to be a big threat in this. A wet track would also be in his favour. Watch closely. ATLANTIC OCEAN (9) has plenty of ability with some placings in good fields and he also had an easy win fresh up when last in work. He has been gelded since last racing and if he is not in need of the run, then he is capable of taking this out.
SELECTIONS: Junqueira to win.

BEAUDESERT: RACE 6 @ 4:32 PM

CRANKY HARRY (4) is a gelding by Spill The Beans on debut for Jack Bruce. Looked good winning his most recent trial. He should make an impact. WONFORWAZZA (7) is a gelding by Domesday who is at the races for the first time today. Another coming off a trial win. Expect a bold showing. CLUSTER'S REIN (2) turned in an eye-catching run over 1210m at Lismore last start when he got back but wound up hard to finish a close second. Can progress.
SELECTIONS: Backing Cranky Harry.

MURRAY BRIDGE: RACE 6 @ 4:42 PM

HUNTLEY LADY (4) raced favourite and was much too good first-up for the 58 graders. The money came again after and it was an okay effort after settling rearward. Draws handy and fitter she can bounce with Crowther sticking. THEY CALL ME ALVIN (2) resumed and missed a whisker here in a CL2. He's been freshened and has been kept up to the mark with a sharp trial. He has more to give and the rail advantages. CORK HARBOUR (3) won the 56 in town three-back and has been around the mark since. Well-bred and is capable of making the finish. LITTLE WONDER (9) was on speed and found her NSW best when narrowly beaten here 24 days ago. She will be better for it and can't be ruled out.
SELECTIONS: Going with Huntley Lady.

WAGGA: RACE 6 @ 5:05 PM

ZABELLSARERINGING (4) rattled home over the top of them here at the latest to score an impressive maiden win. Sure to carry plenty of confidence into this and should improve. The one to beat. MISS ATHENA (9) lengthened nicely to get the verdict and shed her maiden tag last time at Albury. Gets weight relief for the tougher assignment. Main threat. WHITE GLOVE TEST (11) chased gamely to the line last start beating home Miss Athena. Also gets in lighter and warrants respect. COSTAWAY (1) continues to knock on the door but has just struggled to land the knockout blow. Can make his presence felt on best efforts.
SELECTIONS: Zabellsareringing hard to hold out.

HANGING ROCK: RACE 2 @ 2:11 PM

SKYLER'S PRINCESS (5) has finished in the runner-up position at past couple of outings. Looks suited in this line-up and is a genuine contender. GONE AHEAD (4) led them up and wasn't too far off them when just out of the placings at Wangaratta last time. Prepared to give her another chance. FAMOUS STRIKE (11) produced her best effort when filling a place at Penola when resuming last time out. Fitter this time and has to be given respect.
SELECTIONS: Back Skyler's Princess to win.

DARWIN: RACE 6 @ 5:35 PM

MANLY COVE (3) put the writing on the wall with a brave second placing last start and has been in good form for some time now. He gets the blinkers back on today and with Jarrod Todd back in the saddle, he can go one better. CANTON KID (5) did not get into it fresh up but was making up some late ground in the straight. He will strip fitter and should not get as far back today. The three kilo claim from in-form apprentice Jade Hampton is a bonus and rapid improvement is expected. Each-way. BRAZENPINE (6) was back to her winning ways when down in class last start. She is well placed at the weights after the four kilo claim and should be thereabouts again. BARTOLINI (1) has plenty of ability and is making his debut from the strong local stable of Philip Cole. If he is not in need of the run he should be hard to beat. Follow any positive market moves.
SELECTIONS: Manly Cove to win.
