RUBAN BLEU (5) failed to follow up his dominant win two back when sent around a short quote last time. Much better than latest suggests and gets in significantly lighter. Return to form sees this well within his grasp. MILAMOO (6) has been thereabouts in his last two but has just struggled to land the killer blow. Goes well over the track and trip and also enjoys weight relief. Sure to be competitive. MR GEE (2) got too far back and left it too late in his start for T P Donnelly but did make some inroads. Has been kept fresh for this with a trial in between runs to keep the legs ticking over. Booking of Danny Beasley a positive. Worth considering. THIS SKILLED CAT (7) has failed to fire a shot in his last two but had put together a couple smart performances in his runs prior and looked close to a win. Can make his presence felt on best efforts.

FARHH FLUNG (10) worked home nicely when filling second spot here three weeks ago when resuming. Strips fitter this time and should make a bold bid. SUNFALL (6) was a little plain here two weeks ago. Has had four runs this campaign and the rise in trip suits. Has to be respected. AQUILA VOLARE (3) has had a short break since latest run at Werribee and did win a trial at Geelong on January 31 to keep him up to the mark. Has to be included in the hopes. APACHE STAR (2) has had the three runs following a break and has shown continued improvement throughout the campaign. Should make a bold bid.
