Does look to be a race dominated by the top two. DON CORLEONE (2) is the early market elect off a fast finishing win on debut here over 1000m, travelling wide but letting rip late to win well. With the main danger scratched, he should just win. EMPRESS OF WONDER (12) wasn't beaten far in the Magic Millions 2yo Classic at Gold Coast last start and is the other minor winning hope. CAFE MILLENIUM (9) is a colt by Not A Single Doubt out of Veloce Forte on debut who has trialled well for this. REMEDIES (10) next best.

SANDOWN-HILLSIDE: RACE 5 @ 3:00 PM

QUEEN OF THE BALL (2) kicked off last prep in deeper company than this and ran really well in the hottest fillies race of the season to date. She followed that up by switching down to Melbourne and winning a Group Three at the Valley and did it well enough to be fancied in the Schillaci on Guineas Day. Came up short there but game again in the Coolmore and now returns back against second tier fillies. DUSSE (13) can be the big danger. She was very good taking on older horses last time and might just go right on with that now. Similarly, SHE DANCES (9) has been freshened off a top run last time, winning by a space, and she is well worth a shot at this. LACED UP HEELS (6) comes across from Perth with good ratings. May need further but wary of her all the same.
SELECTIONS: Queen Of The Ball is top pick.

DOOMBEN: RACE 4 @ 1:52 PM

MAJOR ARTIE (3) looks beautifully placed. He has been going well in Sydney and looks ready to peak fourth up after getting close when placed in his last two in Sydney. Steps up to a distance where he is unbeaten in three attempts so ticks all the right boxes. LOVELY ESTEEM (10) enjoyed the switch from NSW when she scored at this track and trip last time out, her first visit to this venue. She could well back that up. ROGUE ROCKER (8) has placed in both runs since a spell and was a real eye-catcher when running on for second her last time. Proven third up and suited up in trip. MAGIC CONQUEROR (6) deserves respect having finished runner up in both runs since a spell while WAIRERE FALLS (2) hasn't been far away of late and has each-way claims.
SELECTIONS: Major Artie to maintain the unbeaten record at this journey.

ASCOT: RACE 7 @ 4:20 P

ALL THE KING'S MEN (2) overcame a wide gate and gave them a head start before winning at Pinjarra last start in Listed company. Similar race and draws kindly. Clearly the one to beat again. FEELS PLAYFUL (7) was runner-up in that race after leading so can't be underestimated. Will roll forward again and could take running down. SAINTORIO (1) will be fitter for the run when midfield in the same race as a $4.80 chance. Expect him to improve and if he does he's a genuine threat. ADMIRATION EXPRESS (3) is a big watch first-up and GODDESS OF GIVING (4) is capable of bouncing back from last start flop.
SELECTIONS: All The King's Men to win. Trifecta 2-1,3,4,7/1,3,4,7.

MORPHETTVILLE: RACE 2 @ 12:52 PM

JET JITSU (5) caught the eye at the latest when flashing home to narrowly miss at Flemington. Knocking on the door with back-to-back placings and looks to face an easier assignment here. Booking of leading hoop Barend Vorster a big push for his chances. The one to beat. BELLINGER (2) is another Victorian that comes over and shoulders strong claims. Closed off nicely to the line last start at Pakenham behind one on the up. Could find himself in a tricky spot from the inside draw but is a serious chance with even luck. SHEZ BETTY (11) fell just shy of making it two on the bounce here last start. Tougher assignment this time but strips fitter and should be ready to peak. Warrants consideration. LOPE DE WOLF (7) chased strongly into the placings last time at Gawler when looking to bring up the hat-trick. Gets weight relief. Keep safe.

YARRA VALLEY: RACE 1 @ 12:51 PM

KING'S CHAMBER (4) has been putting the writing on the wall of a coming win with narrow seconds at Moe and Geelong in his past two starts. Looks well suited despite the awkward draw. Should go close. MUISCA (9) showed pace before tiring first-up at Flemington. Will be improved by the outing and has to be given respect here. DALSUPA (1) is returning after a break. Raced well during the winter and has had a Tatura trial in preparation for first-up run. Is a threat. BARRON (3) is on debut and looks fair enough to be in the finish.
SELECTIONS: Back King's Chamber to win.

TOOWOOMBA: RACE 7 @ 8:55 PM

IRISH SALLY (9) has placed once this prep and came home strongly to finish midfield last start at Doomben. Will find the competition here a lot easier than the last field that she raced against and looks very hard to go past. LUCASAYD (2) has recorded two placings from seven runs this prep and looks well placed to return to form. Rates as one of the better each-way chances. GODDESS GLOW (7) has placed in two starts this prep which includes a last start second over 1550m. Looks close to a win and should be hard to roll. BABY RUN (4) has been in the market at her last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression. Looks one for the minors.
SELECTIONS: Irish Sally to win.

ALICE SPRINGS: RACE 5 @ 5:20 PM

FAIR GO (3) is in career best form and after putting together back to back wins in December he has a brace of second placings this year. He was only beaten a length last start and gets a nice swing in the draws today. He drops in weight and looks to be the one to beat. LETHAL ENCOUNTER (1) has returned in great order this season and is aiming for a hat-trick after an easy win here last start. The extra furlong should be no problem and he is the main danger to the top selection. RADIO ROOM (2) will be peaking third up and he has been knocking on the door after a couple of strong efforts for second place to open his current campaign. All of his seven career wins have come on this track and he is worthy of serious respect. HARD WORK REWARDS (4) is usually thereabouts and does get a nice weight advantage after the 3kg claim. A win would not be a huge surprise.

ORANGE: RACE 6 @ 5:14 PM

HERMOSA ROSA (13) is a filly by Sooboog out of Magdalena's Rose on debut. Won a recent Warwick Farm trial. Looks ready to run a big race. DONNA EMILIA (11) is on debut and looks fair enough to be in the finish. REWARD FOR XIAO (16) and THEREMIN (4) both return from long spells and could be value fresh.
