COFFS HARBOUR: RACE 7 @ 4:55 PM

DEMPSEY RAE (3) chased solidly into the placings when resuming here at the latest, beaten under a length. Will appreciate stepping out the extra 200m and is drawn to get all the favours from the inside alley with Ben Looker sticking. Hard to deny this time. ZANARDEE'S LANE (1) caught the eye at the latest when closing off strongly into the placings at Grafton. Wide gate to contest this time but is worth plenty of thought. Can also entertain FIREFLIES (4) who did a good job to find the placings fresh behind a tearaway winner. DADDY'S GIRL (5) best of the rest.

PAKENHAM: RACE 1 @ 5:45 PM

KIKO (6) resumes from a spell of a year. Contested far better races than what she is lining-up against here last campaign. Has trialled up in preparation for return and has to be given respect. PLUS FOURS (2) resumes after four months away from the track. Placed in five of his six starts to date. Looks up to a race like this on home track. Has to be considered. NEW HAMPSHIRE (1) showed some promise at first campaign then was tipped out after one run last time in. In good hands and should not be dismissed. SPIRIT DANCER (10) is a daughter of Spirit Of Boom from Hold Me Closer on debut. In capable hands and will certainly pay to keep a watch on the market.

KYNETON: RACE 7 @ 4:00 PM

PALAGGIO (3) is in the premier barn and was quickly on track beaten 2L from the front in a Moe 64. Gets more weight this grade but John Allen goes on and fitter he can take this out. BELDIVIAN (7) was ridden forward on resumption and missed a whisker. He's improved and is a chance holding the form. AREYOULISTENING (9) was much better narrowly beaten at Yarra Valley. Childs goes on and the gelding may have turned the corner. Each way. THROW AT DA STUMPS (6) resumes and is sharp fresh. No surprise to see him presented forward in easier and is a betting watch. COMMODITY (5) resumes and has a similar profile. Has switched barns and is capable of using the low barrier.

IPSWICH: RACE 4 @ 3:05 PM

KIPLING'S JOURNEY (2) races handy and is busting to win. He was narrowly beaten at Eagle Farm the latest in stronger and has a handy 3kg claim today. Uses the rail and the extra 275m shouldn't bother. BERNIE'S TIGER (1) comes out of the same race just missing a place. He was good here prior and the 2kg claim helps. STAR SMASH (4) won at this distance three-back and has been okay since at middle distances. Will run it right out and should feature. ZELSON (6) will get every chance to build on the comfortable Maiden win.

PINJARRA SCARPSIDE: RACE 6 @ 5:00 PM

ALLMAMONEY (2) drops in class after a tough effort for fifth in a better field last time out on the course proper here. She has been looking for more ground and the extra one hundred metres of this assignment looks ideal as does the 3kg claim. She is well placed to return to the winners' circle today. WEE RIPPER (1) could not sustain his run when getting nabbed late over 1800 metres at Ascot last start, finishing a game second. He will be at his peak fourth up and should be right in the finish. LAQUETTA'S GIFT (3) was over six weeks between races when finishing near the rear last time out at Ascot and probably just needed the run. She will be a lot sharper today and should be allowed another chance, especially in this grade. Each-way value. ROCK MY WAY (6) is another that was badly in need of his last start after some time between races. The step up to a middle distance will suit this promising filly and she is worth following. Include in all combinations.
